Who Is Davey Havok?
Davey Havok, whose real birth name is actually David Paden Passaro, was born in the city of Rochester in New York on the 20th of November, 1975. Our investigation also shows that he has Italian roots.
Havok’s career in music started when he was in high school at Ukiah High school in California, where his family had moved to when he was five. Mark Stopholese and Vic Chalker were the two people he decided to start a band with.
In the beginning, their decision to start a band was farfetched as none of them played any instruments; this problem was solved by them bringing on Adam Carson, a friend of Stopholese, who played the drums.
Eventually, they launched the band which they called AFI in 1991 when they were all still in high school.
AFI
In the early days of AFI, the band had very little success. The group eventually broke up after the members graduated from high school and went to different colleges. On his own part, Havok gained admission to UC Berkeley where he took on a double major in English and Psychology.
Individually, however, they all improved on their musical abilities while they were away from each other. Eventually, the AFI members came together to play a reunion show for their fans and the reception was very good, so they decided to really reunite and even record an album.
AFI released its debut album called Answer That and Stay Fashionable in 1995 and then went ahead to put out a second album titled Very Proud of Ya in 1996. Not resting on their oars, the band released their third album Shut Your Mouth and Open Your Eyes in 1997.
Davey Havok has been the lead singer of the band and is known for his energetic stage performance. So far, the band has put out 10 studio albums and has gone on several tours, enticing fans with their style.

Other Business Endeavours
In 2007, Havok was one of two celebrities who modeled for a jewelry line; the line was Tarina Tarantino’s and the second celebrity was Jeffree Star. Two years after in 2009, Havok voiced a character on the illustrated television show Godkiller. Dragos, the protagonist of the show was voiced by him. He was also part of a web series and had a small role in Knife Fight a 2012 film.
Davey Havok’s fashion endeavors did not end with Tarantino. The Melange Fashion show that took place in San Francisco in 2011 had him as one of its presenters. But working for other people in fashion is not the limit of the work he does in this industry; Glitterboy and Zu Boutique are two clothing lines he has created. The former did not last as long as the other while the latter only existed for a year, during these times both lines were successful.
But Havok is a gift that keeps giving; in April of 2013, he published a book called “Pop Kids” this was after he announced the book’s release in February of the same year. Five years after a second book followed, “Love Fast Los Angeles.”
All these different ventures have all come together to add to the wealth that Davey Havok has but of all of these sources of income his music pulls in the most amount of money, he is also mostly known for his music.
