Born around the mid-’80s in St Paul in Alberta province, Canada where she spent her formative years, Darah’s parents who were originally from Vietnam were said to have relocated to Canada during the war. She is also of Asian descent.

Darah discovered her love for everything art really early and decided to make a career out of it. To achieve this dream, she went to the Alberta College of Art and Design where studied Art. She then proceeded to the United States and completed her Bachelor of Fine Arts (BFA) from the School of Visual Arts, New York.
2. She is a professional photographer
Despite having a flair for art and photography precisely, Darah didn’t start out a career as a professional photographer. After completing her college and obtaining a BFA, for reasons best known to her, she chose to start out her career in the financial world as a finance officer and she worked with various Canadian companies in this capacity.
After school, she started out at a pipe fabrication company called Academy Group of Companies. She was here for five years between 2008 to 2013. She then moved to another financial company LaPraire Crane and Northland Fleet.
It was after her job with LaPraire that she decided to pursue her life long dream of being a photographer. To have a clean start and better opportunities, she relocated to the United States. She soon began getting offers from fashion agencies and for covering of other events.

Darah Trang met Anson Mount back in 2011. Even though Darah was more of a behind the scene person, they began to date around September of the same year. Despite having a tight working schedule, they both decided to prioritize their relationship and dated for close to six years before getting engaged on the 8th of June 2017. The besotted couple then tied the knot in a private ceremony with close friends and family in attendance on the 20th of February 2018.
Anson Mount is a talented actor known for his roles in several television series and blockbuster movies. He is popular for his role as the fictional character – Cullen Bohannon in the Western drama series titled Hell on Wheels. He is also known as the Marvel Comics superhero Black Bolt in Marvel’s Inhumans, and then as Captain Christopher Pike in the 2nd season of Star Trek: Discovery.

The love birds started out living in Brooklyn, New York but as of 2021, they have moved to Canada.

Darah is very passionate about helping others and this is obvious from the different philanthropic activities she has been involved in. Around August 2017, she used her Facebook page to appeal to the public to donate funds for victims of Hurricane Harvey.

Darah is an avid and unapologetic animal lover. She is very protective of her three beloved pups namely: Jax, Lou, and Mac. While she and her husband are yet to welcome their own children, Darah is content mothering her three dogs.
