Born on the 9th of October 1960 in Mexico, Antonio Aguilar Jr. is a famous Mexican singer and actor who began his entertainment career very early in life. He made his movie debut between 1972 and 1973, starring alongside his parents in the movie La Yegua Colorada.

His father has notably recorded over 150 albums that sold 25 million copies in his lifetime. He has also starred in about 120 movies and was nicknamed “El Charro de México” meaning Mexico’s Horseman.
While the Mexican-born father remains one of the finest Latin American entertainers ever lived, his mother is Flor Silvestre, originally born Guillermina Jiménez Chabolla on the 16th of August 1930 and died on the 25th of November 2020 aged 90. Until her demise, she was a well-known singer, actress, and equestrienne renowned for her proficiency in Latin American music.
Flor and her son Antonio had previously recorded a song together titled Para morir iguales. The song was included in the reissue album of Antonio in 2016 titled Caballo Viejo. Para morir iguales is said to be one of Flor’s hit songs in the early 60s.
