EST Gee is an American rapper and songwriter who was originally born as George Albert Stone III on the 11th of May 1994 in Louisville Kentucky, U.S. Also known as Big Gee, Geeski, or Riata Dada, the rapper who had a fair share of the street life while growing up is better known for featuring on Lil Baby’s hit 2021 single, Real as it Gets. Moreso, his 2021 mixtape Bigger Than Life or Death has also witnessed a wide listenership.

1. Who is He?
George Albert Stone III is a 30-year-old American entertainer whose parents are George and Sheila Stone. He had his early childhood in Cooper Creek (Now demolished) and later moved to Tubman Court & Ellington Avenue in the United States.
The rapper has said he was exposed to street life quite early in life. According to him, his father had a gold tooth, a tattoo and had already been shot by the time he was 11. Sources also reveal that the entertainer’s father was in prison for part of his childhood and he had to live with his grandmother when his mother lost custody of him.
EST Gee attended Louisville, Kentucky, U.S, the same school where notable stars like Michael Dorris, Tom Cruise, and Don Rosa attended. His songs have a tone of melancholy and violence but also portray the Scenery of Kentucky and other places where the rapper has lived.
2. EST Gee Used to be a Footballer
Gee used to be a three-sport athlete who played basketball and football and also ran track. But he excelled in football the most.
He was a star linebacker in high school and his excellent play opened up scholarship opportunities for him to college. This made him the first person in his family that made it to college.
According to the rapper, all everyone cared about in Louisville was to make it to college sports and he tried to work hard to make it for his people especially because he never was bad at anything. Fortunately or unfortunately, he never ended up as a footballer.
3. George Lost His College Football Scholarship to Charges of Drug Trafficking
The American-born rapper after completing high school in 2012 was given a football scholarship to Indiana State University where he majored in communications. Sources say he spent 2 years at the University before he moved to Sac City College. The entertainer later left Sac City for Stephen F. Austin University where he eventually dropped out in 2016 when he was nabbed by the authorities with 12 pounds of weed and thousands of dollars in cash.
This ultimately terminated his scholarship and probably ended his hopes of obtaining a college degree. Gee was initially looking at a potential 10-year sentence but his lawyer got the charge reduced to class D felony and accepted a plea for 5-year probation.
4. He Began Music by Setting up a Studio in His Bathroom During a House arrest for Trafficking
While solitary confinement can be a difficult moment for some people, it became a period of self-discovery for Gee who was said to have started writing and recording his songs while he was under house arrest. The rapper had known that his NFL career opportunity was lost and because he was also expecting a son, he needed something else to support himself and his family.
Gee got inspired to start producing music about his life when he watched Lil baby’s performance on T.V. Baby came from a similar background as Gee so he knew that he may be able to succeed in the entertainment industry if he tried.
He released his debut song Stains on youtube on the 17th of December 2019 and continued to gain a local fan base with other singles. His first and second mixtapes El Toro and Die Bloody were later released in June and August 2019.
5. EST Gee Gained Mainstream Attention With His third Mixtape Ion Feel Nun
The rapper’s first and second mix tapes did not earn the entertainer much attention as in the case of his third mixtape Ion Feel Nun which was released on the 6th of March 2020.
His fourth mixtape was released in December 2020 and his work was able to earn him a deal with Yo Gotti’s Collective Music Group (CMG). He was also later able to sign another deal with Interscope Records and Warlike.
His song with Lil Baby Real as It Gets peaked at no. 34 on the Billboard Hot 100. The singer later began to have numerous collaborations with other artists such as Young Thug, Lil Durk, and Pooh Shiesty. His 5th mix tape Bigger Than Life debuted at number 7 on the billboard 200 with roughly 30,000 units.
6. His Nickname EST means Everybody Shines Together
Shortly after the rapper made up his mind to be an entertainer, the first stage name that came to his mind was Big ‘Gee’. He later switched to EST, meaning ‘Everybody Shines Together.’ EST dropped his first song Stains as Big Gee in 2017. While he has recorded significant success over the years, his EST crew has over time had several legal issues.
So far, at least 10 affiliates of the EST crew have already been arrested including Gee’s manager Eric Mosley. In September 2021, Moseley’s hotel room was raided by the FBI and they found a kilo of cocaine, two pistols, and $100,000 in cash.
Similarly, in an investigation called ‘project safe Neighborhoods’, the FBI allegedly nabbed 9 other EST affiliates with guns, drugs and a stolen car, and over $100,000 in cash. The police have alleged that EST is not just a music collective but also an organized crime group that runs heroin, fentanyl, and other drugs through Louisville.
The authorities have also alleged that EST is responsible for several murders including that of a three-year-old girl.
7. Is the Rapper Married?
EST is not yet married butis alledged to have a baby mama whose name has not yet been disclosed. Sources say his baby mama likely has two kids for him. Although he has uploaded the picture of his kid son his social media handle, he has not revealed his name.

8. He was Shot 5 times in 2019
The entertainer had a near-near-death experience in September 2019 when he was shot 5 times after filming a video with Sada Baby. His stomach received 4 bullets while another bullet brushed his left eye. The rapper’s brother also sustained a leg injury during the unfortunate incident. Gee said he never knew he was going to survive the incident but his brother kept him awake and talking till they got to the hospital where he spent 2 weeks and had surgeries that redeemed his life and most part of his vision.
Even though no one knew who the shooters were, a rapper from West End named Hblocc Duke rapped about the incident on a diss track called EST (Everybody Shot Together). Hblocc used the footage of Gee laid up in the hospital in the video of his song. Duke’s lyrics partly read we get EST for free, ask Gee about that freeway, we the reason for that bad eye and that zipper on his stomach, and a couple of his dead homies.
While the actual shooter of the rapper was still contemplated, his brother was shot dead in march 2020. This happened barely a week after EST lost his mother to leukemia.
9. The Singer Believes He would not Die Until He Makes a $100 million
Upon releasing his fifth mixed tape, EST revealed that his music project is bigger than life or death and nothing can affect or stop him. He claimed that even death cannot do anything to him but make him bigger. He also said he is not going to die until he makes $100 or $200 million. The rapper who said he ‘blew up’ without changing a damn thing about himself is estimated to have a net worth of about $5 million.
