She was born Anette Ingegerd Olsson on 21 June 1971 at Katrineholm, Sweden. Her family was a musical one with her mother playing in a band.
She is currently 53 years old.
With a passion for singing, she started taking music lessons at the Copenhagen Music Conservatory under a private teacher. She still goes for more music lessons from a private instructor at the Malmo Music University.
Music never stopped her from other activities, she has trained as a nurse, psychologist, and project manager. The talented singer once flipped burgers and worked as a veterinarian assistant.

She has been married twice. She is currently married to Johan Husgafval, former bassist for Pain. They tied the knot on 10 August 2013. She announced their marriage on her blog.
Their happy union with Johan is blessed with two sons, Nemo and Mio. Nemo was born on 30 July 2010 and his brother came on 28 March 2013.
Her son, Seth Blychert is a product of her first marriage and he was born on 11 July 2001.

1. She Toured with Her mother’s Band
Her early touring experience started when she toured with her mother’s music band. As a young girl growing up with music around her, she was encouraged to follow her passion.

She competed in the second season of the Finnish Tahdet show in 2015. Anette was the only non-Finnish on the show but managed to sing one Finnish song.

3. Why Was She Fired From Nightwish?
Her time with the Nightwish band was short. She was allegedly fired from the band when she was pregnant. While this is her position, the band denied this.
