Woody Harrelson has been married twice; First, was his marriage to Nancy Simon followed by Laura Louie. On their own Woody Harrelson’s wives may not have enjoyed the same career success as the actor, yet, they have also made a name for themselves in the entertainment industry. Nancy is an actress whose marriage to Harelson caused quite a stir. Apparently, they tied the knot as a joke with the hope that they get divorced after a day but things did not end up as they planned. Regardless of this experience, the Cheers actor gave marriage a chance again when he got married to Laura Louie in 2008. Notably, Harrelson and Louie share three daughters.
For a man who has enjoyed a long successful career, many remember his highly acclaimed roles in works like The People vs. Larry Flynt and The Game Changer as well as his colorful love life and other details about his marriages.
Nancy Simon was Married to the Actor for Less than a Year
Born sometime in 1960, Nancy is the daughter of the movie maker, Neil Simon and Elain Joyce. Admittedly, many people get married for different reasons which many may not agree with. As it is Harrelson and Nancy Simon proved this when they got married with the plan to divorce immediately.
A close look at their relationship showed that they got married on June 29, 1985, in Tijuana, Mexico. It is generally believed that the pair did not date and even the marriage was meant to last a day after which they would go their separate ways. One may be curious about why someone would get married just to separate shortly after.
As it is, this is a question that has not been answered by Nancy and Woody. The little snippet revealed by Harrelson shows that Nancy’s father, Neil had the feeling that Harrelson was after Nancy’s money.
More on the marriage, the couple soon found out that they could not divorce the next day after they returned to the marriage/divorce parlor and met it closed. Thus, their fate was sealed, or was it? It would take them the next couple of months before they eventually divorced.
What is Nancy Upto?
Following their divorce, both entertainers moved on with their love life. On her part, Nancy walked down the aisle with David Florimbi sometime in 1992. Apparently, she met him on a blind date sometime in the late 80s which led to a love relationship between the two.
Unlike her acting career which has only two credits in Chapter Two(1979) and 60 Minutes(1968), her second marriage was more successful than the previous one.
She and Florimbi welcomed their only child, a daughter named Sophia Florimbi in 1993. Ever since they have been together.

Laura Louie Met Woody Harrelson while working as His PA
Laura Louie and Woody first met in 1987 in the line of work. At the time, Woody’s career had taken off and he was a household name due to his acclaimed role in Cheers and other works years earlier. For a man who was trying to manage the fame that comes with success, he needed a personal assistant to manage his life. As it, this is where Laura came in. She worked as his PA but their relationship moved beyond professional to romantic in no time.
During the relationship, Laura and Woody welcomed three adorable daughters. Their oldest child, Deni was born in 1993, followed by the second in 1996 and the last, Makani in 2006.
Aside from their love relationship, Louie is the cofounder of Yoganics, an organic food delivery service.
The Pair Got Married after the Birth of their Third Child
Two years after the birth of their last child, the pair sealed their union by walking down the aisle in 2008.
As it is, this relationship has weathered many storms including his controversial stance on issues like legalizing marijuana, protest against the Iraq-Iran war, and involvement with other women. In 2002, the paparazzi was caught on camera with other women while he was filming in London. It would be recalled that he and Laura were dating at the time, yet, they moved beyond the affair as they would welcome their last child the following year.
Moreover, the award-winning actor’s wife and children have continued to show support for him as can be seen in a red-carpet appearance they made ahead of his film, Champions in New York City.
