Born Charlton Kenneth Jeffrey Howard, The Kid LAROI is a famous musician believed by some to be related to Canadian singer Justin Bieber. However, it has been established that he is only connected to Justin through the musical collaborations they had in Bieber’s Unstable and Stay. The two songs were a global hit, but Stay became a chart-topper across multiple platforms, including the Billboard Hot 100 and Billboard Global 200.
Also, he is known for sparking a friendship with late American rapper Juice Wrld, and a partnership with Atlanta-based rapper Lil Baby. Some of his awards include ARIA Music Awards, Billboard Music Awards, and MTV Video Music Awards.
The Kid LAROI And Justine Bieber Formed A Bond Through Music Collaboration
The 21–year-old Australian rapper and Canadian singer are not related in any way, it was music that born their friendship. A friendship that started when Justine Bieber sent an Instagram message to The Kid LAROI, commenting on his song Go, and appreciated his skill. The Australian was taken aback by Bieber’s recognition of his talent and said he looked up to the Canadian when he was little.
As a result, the two went on to collaborate on two songs. The first was Bieber’s Unstable from his 2021 album Justice, and the second was Stay from LAROI’s reloaded mixtape F*ck Love 3: Over You.
Both Unstable and Stay gained global acclaim and topped charts across different platforms and several countries.
Of the two, Stay went as far as reaching number one on Billboard Hot 100, and Billboard Global 200. Additionally, the song also peaked in 22 other countries, including Canada, Germany, India, the Netherlands, New Zealand, South Korea, and his home country.
Therefore, LAROI and Bieber are not related by blood, nor are they from the same country, but they are connected by music.
