Meet Teresa Fidalgo and Her Mysterious Life of a Ghost
In 2004, three friends, Tania, Tiago, and David were traveling by road at night when they saw a woman reaching out to them for a ride. When she got into the car, they engaged in a conversation where she told them her name and claimed she would drop just ahead of the road.
While on the road and with David still filming, Teresa pointed to a place and claimed it was the place where she had an accident and died.
Upon hearing it, David redirected the camera to her face and noticed blood and details that were not usual. Only some minutes later, the car was involved in an accident, leaving Tania and Tiago dead while only David survived.

The mystery behind the story is that the police found out that a woman named Teresa had died on the spot.
The introduction of the video read:
This is a true story that occurred on 12th July of 2003. David Rebordao and a couple of his friends went scouting for a location for his next movie called “VIRUS”.
This would easily mean that the story was true. But is it?
Well, some people claimed to have encountered Teresa Fidalgo around the vicinity she was claimed to have died many years ago. To corroborate the story, other creators shared a video on YouTube.
On the aspect of whether the story was fake, according to a report by Independent.co.uk, the producer David Rebordão attested that the story was scripted and was surprised at its longevity and success.
Since David is a director and producer, it is not far from the truth that could have made up the story.
The video is named A Curva and was created as a horror film. David has released several other videos on his YouTube channel.
Also, he revealed in an interview that contrary to the popular opinion that the story was true and shot in Sentra, it was actually shot in Belas.
The film’s director was also not aware of how far the film had gone. At the time of the release, YouTube was not available. Therefore, he shared it on Google Videos. Then, someone came across it and subtitled it in English.
This marked the beginning of how famous the video became.
