Tacoma’s father died at 50 on 9th April 2021 after suffering a heart attack at his home in New York. A week before his passing, the rapper was rushed to White Plains Hospital, New York where he was said to be in a critical condition.
According to the Westchester County Medical Examiner’s office, he died from a cocaine-induced heart attack. Moreover, he has been heavily involved with drugs since he was 14.
2. He Petitioned To Be An Administrator Of His Later Father’s Estate
DMX died without leaving behind a will, reports say. This development created some kind of tension among his children about who would be the administrator over the later rapper’s estate.
Desiree Lindstrom who was DMX’s fiancee and mother of his son Exodus asked the court to legally declare her as the rapper’s “common-law wife”, but her application was thrown out by a judge.
