Wilson was born to the family Jesse Burch Bullock and Mary Lablanche Wilson on the 11th of February 1925 in Birmingham, Alabama in the United States of America. He registered for military service in 1943, two years before the end of the second world war which began on the 1st of September 1939 and ended on the 2nd of September 1945.
He got married to Helga Mathilde Meyer in Germany’s second-largest city called Nuremberg while he was in charge of the Army’s Military Postal Service in Europe.
Wilson later returned with his family to Arlington where he served with the Army Materiel Command, an agency established on the 8th of May 1962 and saddled primarily with the responsibility of providing materiel to the United States Army. After his service with the command, he proceeded to be a contractor for the Pentagon; the headquarters building of the United States Department of Defense which was constructed on an accelerated schedule during the second world war.
He died on the 18th day of September 2018 at the good age of 93 and his remains were laid to rest in Jackson Lincoln Wyoming, in the United States of America.
2. Helga Mathilde Meyer
Sandra Bullock’s mother Helga was born on the 12th day of February 1942 in Nürnberg, Bavaria, Germany, to the family of a rocket scientist by name Eugen Meyer and Elisabeth Wilhelmine Böhnert. She was an opera singer and a voice coach at Mary Washington College for several years.
She was a frequent performer at Staatstheater Nürnberg and made it for several European Opera tours. Her vocals were also featured as soundtracks in some of her daughter’s productions like All About Steve.
Mathilde died in Arlington, Virginia at the age of 58 in 2000 after living a very productive and impactful life.
