Who is Paxton Whitehead’s First Wife?

Whitehead’s first wife was Patricia Gage. She was born on March 3 1940 in Glasgow, Scotland. She was born about 3 years after her ex-husband Paxton who was born (on 17 October 1937) in East Malling and Larkfield Kent, England.

She grew up to gain notoriety as an actress with a TV career that lasted over 5 decades.

Her Marriage to Paxton, Their Child, and What Happened

Pat Gage was married to Paxton Whitehead in 1971 but divorced in 1986 after 15 years. Pat had a daughter named Heather Whitehead. Yet, according to sources, Heather is not the biological child of Paxton.

While they were still married, Paxton and Patricia appeared in There’s One in Every Marriage, a 1972 Broadway production. Also, they appeared on TV in a production of George Bernard Shaw’s Village Wooing in 1975.

Whatever the case,  Pat later led a private love life while her ex, Paxton became married to Katherine Jane Robertson in 1987. The marriage lasted until Paxton died at a hospital in Arlington, Virginia, on June 16, 2023, at the age of 85.

He is survived by his two children, a daughter, Sarah Whitehead, and a son Charles Whitehead.

What Actually Happened to Patricia Gage?

Patricia suffered from a type of cancer known as myeloma. She died on January 31, 2010, at the age of 69.

She is survived by her daughter Heather Whitehead, other relatives, and friends.

According to her obituary page, she didn’t want any funeral service but a reception was held on Sunday, February 28, 2010, at The Riverbend Inn (Coach House), in Niagara-on-the-Lake, Ontario, Canada.
