Her parents served with the US Navy. Their marriage lasted only a short time before it ended in a divorce after the actress was born.
Lisa’s parents led private lives and there is no in-depth information about their other relationships after their marriage fell apart.

The same year, Lisa featured in one of her greatest works, The Addams Family where she played the role of Wednesday Addams in 64 episodes from 1964 to 1966.
