Biography of Georgianne Walken

Georgianne Walken was born on February 8, 1944, in Cook County, Chicago, Illinois. She is the daughter of George Albert Korzen and Helen Korzen. She is currently 81 years old. Although the exact number of her siblings remains unknown, it is known that she has a brother, George Korzen Jr.

Details of her early life and childhood are scarce, but her birth came just a year before the conclusion of World War II. When the war drew to a close in September 1945, Georgianne was already one year and seven months old.

Raised in Chicago, she would go on to meet Christopher Walken in the early 1960s. This encounter led to their marriage and her successful career in entertainment as a casting director, where she made a significant impact.

In 1963, Georgianne Walken and Christopher Walken met each other while working as dancers in a theatrical production of West Side Story. They began dating and after six years of being together, they married in January 1969. This year marks their 56 wedding anniversary, making their marriage one of the longest-lasting in Hollywood. Their enduring love is a testament to the strong bond they share.

In addition to being one of the most enduring couples in Hollywood, Georgianne and Christopher’s marriage is also one of the most scandal-free. Despite being in the public eye for decades, they have managed to keep their private lives out of the tabloids. She earned nine Emmy Award nominations, winning her first and only Emmy in 1999 for outstanding casting for a series in The Sopranos.
