Cosmo was born in Manhattan, New York, USA on 6 April 1927. He was also an American actor, puppeteer, and voice artist known for movies like Corcere (1977), Captain Kangaroo (1955), and StreetHunter (1990). He was also known for voicing several characters and designing puppets for the CBS Kids show that aired for about 3 decades. Cosmo studied art at Marietta College in Ohio and was in boot camp when World War II ended.
He married Carol Lawrence on January 13, 1956. However, their union was annulled in 1959, three years later. After their divorce, Cosmo got married to Ilolya Korody in 1960 and had one child with her.
Cosmo battled emphysema for some years before he died on July 26, 2013, in Phoenix, Arizona, USA.

Carol’s Second Husband, Robert Goulet was also a Popular Entertainer
Born on November 26, 1933, Robert Gérard Goulet was an American and Canadian singer and actor famously recognized for starring and originating the role of Sir Lancelot in the 1960 Broadway musical, Camelot. Throughout his career which spanned six decades, Robert featured in several other movies and produced multiple music albums.
He married Louise Longmore in 1956 and their union was blessed with one daughter. Their daughter, Nicolette was an actress until her death on April 17, 2008. However, the pair divorced in 1963.
The same year Goulet divorced his first wife, he met Carol Lawrence on stage and began a relationship with her that would later lead to marriage. According to Carol, she was pleased to meet Goulet and described him as a hardworking, romantic, and sometimes gloomy man who had an incredible sex appeal.
According to sources, their romance was so beautiful and was treated in the press like a fairy tale. Moreover, their union was blessed with 2 kids. The first is Christopher who was born in 1964 while the second is Michael, born in 1966.
Meanwhile, in her 1990 book Carol Lawrence: The Backstage Story, Carol accused Goulet of being an alcoholic and an abusive husband and father. She also said that she found God at Bel Air Presbyterian Church and became a devoted Christian but she could not get Goult interested in faith. Moreover, Goulet became a gun lover and slept with a loaded, cocked rifle on the floor next to the bed. These factors contributed to their separation and divorce in 1981. She demanded custody of their two teenage sons and spousal support in her divorce petition. Carol also asked for possession of various household items.
After going separate ways with Caroline, Robert married the model, sculptor, and writer, Vera Novak in a wedding chapel in 1982. They remained an item until his passing from pulmonary fibrosis on the evening of October 30, 2007, at Cedars-Sinai Medical Center at the age of 73.
Her Marriage to John Gregory Guydus Lasted For Just a Year
John is the last man Carol Lawrence married. She tied the knot with him on March 7, 1982, but their marriage was annulled the following year. The pair have not revealed the reason why they gave up on their marriage so soon. However, Carol would not tie the knot with any other person after her third relationship with John failed.
