Booker Jombe Parker, Thandiwe Newton, and  Ol Parker’s last child is a celebrity kid that is in the limelight as a result of the career successes of his parents. Booker’s mother is famous for being a renowned British actress who has starred in moves like Mission Impossible 2 (2000) and For Colored Girls (2010). Similarly, Booker’s father, Oliver Parker is an English director, producer, and screenwriter.

On March 30, 2014, Booker Jombe Parker was born. Although Booker is from Kensal Rise in northwestern London, his ancestry is linked to Zimbabwe. Also, his maternal grandmother, Nyasha Jombe, came from a Shona royal dynasty in Zimbabwe. This would imply that Booker is descended from Shona, one of Africa’s largest and oldest ethnic groupings.

Meanwhile, Booker’s mother has spoken in different fora about choosing to give birth at home to all three of her children, including Booker. Thandiwe says she feels that the hospital is associated with being ill while she always feels fantastic at home, particularly while she is pregnant. The actress also added that she always feels relaxed and at ease giving birth at home.

Booker Jombe Parker is not the only child born to his parents. He has two older siblings namely Ripley who was born on December 17, 2000, and Nico was born on December 9, 2004.

Both His Parents Are In The Show Biz

As earlier stated, Booker Jombe Parker is in the limelight courtesy of his parents’ entertainment career. His mother has received various awards, including an Emmy Award for Outstanding Supporting Actress in a Drama Series, a BAFTA Award for Best Actress in a Supporting Role, and two Critics’ Choice Awards just to mention a few. She has also made appearances in dozens of films and TV shows including Mission Impossible 2 (2000), For Colored Girls (2010), Half of a Yellow Sun (2013), and Human Resources (2022-2023).

On the other hand, Booker’s father Oliver Parker is an English director, producer, and screenwriter. He wrote and directed the 2018 musical film Mamma Mia! Here We Go Again. Also, he has other movies like Now is Good (2012) and Ticket to Paradise (2022) to his credit.

Meanwhile, Booker Jombe Parker’s parents are now divorced. The estranged couple tied the knot in 1998 but went separate ways in 2022. Altogether, they were married for 24 years. His mother is currently in a relationship with American musician Elijah Dias, better known by his stage name Lon. More so, Elija is 24 years younger than Thandiwe Newton.

Booker Jombe Parker’s older sister is also an actress

Booker’s sister, Nico Parker (19) has toed the career path of her parents, and she is signed with Knight Jall Agency. Nico made her career debut as Milly Farrier in Walt Disney Pictures Dumbo (2019). Furthermore, she has been featured in other movies and TV shows like Reminiscence (2021), The Third Day (2020), and The Last of Us (2023).

Does Booker Jombe Parker have an interest in acting?

Booker has not yet stated whether or not he will be picking a career in the entertainment industry, despite the fact that his entire family appears to be moving in this direction. Furthermore, he is still enrolled in school and may just be focusing on his studies at the moment.
