Now heading into its third season, the Netflix reality dating television series Perfect Match has no couples still together.
The show brings together former reality stars seeking lasting love. In the process, they experience various challenges that will test their love, and in the end, one couple is voted by other contestants as the perfect match and wins the show.
Perfect Match has produced some amazing couples that have dated for some time, but none have stayed together for up to a year.
Ahead of the third season of Perfect Match, here is a look at how some of the couples have fared in the first two seasons.
Georgia Hassarati and Dom Gabriel
Drawn from Too Hot to Handle and The Mole, Georgia Hassarati and Dom Gabriel became the winners of the first season of Perfect Match in 2023.
When the couple left the show, they were still together, and because of their chemistry, it was easy to speculate that they would be together for a long time.
Unfortunately, it was not meant to be. They parted ways shortly after, on the grounds of long distance.
Georgia revealed that they had to go their separate ways because they were from far places, Australia and Canada, and they were in different situations.
Gabriel opened up about his feelings for his ex, indicating he had so much love for her, but they couldn’t work it out.
While Gabriel revealed he is currently single, Georgia is currently dating actor Thomas Doherty.
Kariselle Snow and Joey Sasso
The Circle‘s Joey Sasso and Are You the One‘s Kariselle Snow were also on the show’s first season. Before joining, they were already dating, but according to them, they wanted to test their relationship. The experiment worked well as they were together all through the show- the only couple that maintained the feat.
By the end of the season, the relationship, which had its crack, seemed to have settled well after Sasso proposed and the couple got engaged.
When they got back to reality, away from the beautiful romantic village, it was clear they were not meant to be.
According to Sasso, while they did not suffer many dramas, they had extreme highs and lows, and in the end, they parted ways.
For now, the former lovers seem to both be single.
Chloe Veitch and Shayne Jansen
Chloe Veitch (Too Hot to Handle) and Shayne Jansen (Love Is Blind) were, by all means, an amazing couple.
They had good chemistry and seemed easily in love when they were paired in the first season of the show.
Chloe revealed that she loved the feeling of being in love with Shayne and was ready to push things forward even after the show. However, she had her doubts and saw some colors she didn’t like about him.
The pair ended their relationship shortly after the show as a result of distance. Jansen is currently single after a failed relationship with Julie Theis, while Veitch is now in a relationship with entrepreneur Nicky Gathrite.

Christine Obanor and Nigel Jones
Winners of the second season of Perfect Match, Christine Obanor (Too Hot to Handle) and Nigel Euro (Too Hot to Handle) had the longest relationship of any other contestant on the Netflix reality dating show. They were together for 9 months, although they also went through turbulent times.
When the pair left Tulum, Mexico, they appeared to be the couple that would have it all figured out, but that was not to be.
Nigel revealed that they tried making things work, but in the end, they had to go their separate ways. Christine indicated that to make things work, she once suggested couples therapy to see if they would fix things.
The former lovers believe their relationship suffered and ultimately gave way because neither of them had fully healed from past relationships.
Alara Taneri and Stevan Ditter
Alara and Stevan were one of the strongest couples of the second season of Perfect Match. They left as one of the favorites to have something going on after the show ended, but this was not to be.
Distance brought their relationship to an end. According to Stevan, by the time he was waking up in LA, Alara was sleeping in London, and by the time she was waking up, he was sleeping.
This did not help their communication, and in the end, they let the relationship end.
