After graduating from high school in 1986, Anna went on to pursue a degree in Fine Arts at the University of New Orleans. This educational background would serve as the foundation for her future career in the fashion industry.

Following her graduation from university, Anna relocated to Los Angeles where she pursued her dreams in the fashion world. She established a clothes manufacturing enterprise and spent her time between Los Angeles and New Orleans.
In 1997, Anna decided to return to her roots in Louisiana, where she opened a children’s clothing store in New Orleans. This was because children’s clothing stores for locals were scares at the time.
In 2011, Anna expanded her career in the fashion industry and acquired the French clothing brand Lylian Heirloom. The brand had been in operation for over a century before it became hers. It was easy for her to maintain grounds as it was one of the major stores in Pippen Lane Children’s Emporium in New Orleans.
Following the success of the former, she later launched her clothing line for children and newborn babies, called Layette. The brand has since garnered praise for its craftsmanship and style.
On the other hand, her husband excels in the entertainment industry as an actor. Over the years, he has appeared in many television series and movies. Anna Beth Goodman and John Goodman have Been Married for over 3 Decades
As earlier stated Anna Beth Goodman is married to actor John Goodman. The pair met at the 1987 Halloween party at Tipitina’s in NOLA. At the time, John was filming the novel-adapted sports drama “Everybody’s All-American” while Anna was on a business trip in the same city.
Taking on an interview with Elle, He recalls what happened that evening “She walked up to me and said, ‘Hi.’ I couldn’t figure out why anyone that pretty was talking to me,”.
The pair soon started dating and the following year, John proposed on the banks of the Mississippi River in New Orleans’ French Quarter. He revealed that it wasn’t much of a surprise as they had both gone to the jewelry store to get the ring before going to the river where he popped the question.
The couple tied the knot on October 27, 1989, at New Orleans’ Saint Charles Avenue Presbyterian Church and have been happily married ever since. Their relationship has stood the test of time, with both supporting each other through difficult times. John has often spoken publicly about Anna’s love and care towards him and his daughter, Molly.
He gave an account of how she mostly raised their daughter alone following his alcohol addictions and would later help him recover and stay sober for over 15 years.
According to him, he had tried giving up his addictions several times but still found his way to a bottle every time. After one of the weekends with the guys, he got so drunk that he woke up shaking the following morning but continued to drink. He would later put a phone call through to his wife and said he was turning himself into a Gestapo. It was at that moment Anna stepped in and called some facilities for help. She got him into a treatment center where he detoxed and also finally decided to give up his addictions.
They are Proud Parents of One
As hinted already, Anna Beth Goodman and John Goodman have one daughter together, Molly Evangeline Goodman. She was born on August 31, 1990, a year after her parents got married and she’s 34 years old right now. Growing up, her parents relocated to the Garden District in New Orleans where she was raised away from the Hollywood lifestyle.
Like her father, she has followed in his footsteps and is pursuing a career in the entertainment industry. However, Molly has chosen to keep a low profile, opting to work behind the scenes in the entertainment industry. She graduated from the University of South California with a Bachelor’s degree in Film and Television Production.
Despite growing up in the shadow of her famous father, Molly has forged her path and made a name for herself in the industry as a production assistant, script editor, and designer of several films and television series such as “The Conners” and “New Girl”.
