Alina Lozano was born on January 6, 1969, in Colombia. At an early age, she showed interest in acting so she was enrolled to study at the National School of Dramatic Art.
Later on, she proceeded to the university to study hotel management but later dropped out of school with the notion that she felt out of place. Again, she tried to study law to have a professional career yet she did not succeed.

Is Alina Lozano Married?
Alina Lozano was formerly married to Cuban actor, Mijail Mulkay. She married the actor in 2005 as his second wife and divorced him in 2008. Their marriage produced a son named Samuel Bordon Lozano.
According to reports, before the pair separated, Alina helped Mijail when he became deeply depressed and addicted to drugs and alcohol.
Their marriage ended in 2008 after he fell in love with fellow actress Majida Issa. He would later marry Majida but they will separate in November 2012.
As for the award-winning actress, there are rumors that she might be dating her former student, Jim Velasquez, who is 30 years younger than she is.
