Her father was a lawyer and her mother worked with an unnamed Vancouver company as a secretary. They paid her $150,000 for loss of future earning capacity, $135,000 for pain and suffering, $50,000 for loss of past earning capacity, $80,000 for house keeping, $10,000 for specific therapy and $5,000 for pain management. She earned $430,000 as compensation for her inability to work, sustain and maintain herself because of the accident.

Following the injuries sustained from the May 2013 accident, she did a second breast implant to replace both implants because one of them got torn from the accident.
