When he was in high school, he formed a band that was after he joined the school’s band and he also occasionally played in small garage bands.

After Alex Tumay graduated from high school, he tried his best to get a major for college to satisfy his wants so he went through almost nine majors before he eventually dropped out. He later enrolled in full sail university in winter park again to study audio engineering. He graduated from the university in 2010 with a bachelor’s degree in Recording Arts. He also scored an internship at Maze Studio in Atlanta, Georgia.

Tumay began searching for work in different restaurants after he dropped out of school. He was doing this to support himself as he hustles and makes his way into the music industry. Since at the age of 16, the sound engineer cum DJ would sneak into casinos to watch how poker is played.
