Jamie Mcshane was born on Jamie Nelson Simon July 18, 1964, and he’s 60 years old right now. He was raised in Saddle River, New Jersey, a little town right at the bother of Ho-Ho-Kus. While not so much has been established about his early life and family background, he once hinted that his parents and a few of his siblings still live there. His father owns a company in New Jersey where he sells and services microscopes.
As for his education, he graduated from the University of Richmond where he earned a degree in English.
He Almost Pursued a Career in Sports
Growing up, Jamie also shared a great interest in sports, particularly ice hockey, and decided to make a career from it. Even though his natural athletic abilities earned him recognition among his peers, he was forced to stop playing following a near-fatal head injury at school.
While it was a devastating blow to his dreams, he managed to find solace in his first love for acting as it was a great opportunity to explore and fully commit himself to the industry.
At the time he was trying to gain footing in acting, he played tennis and appeared in several tournaments which earned him the experience to become an instructor. Jamie later studied Tae Kwondo for several years and even won a black belt.

For over 2 decades, Jamie Mcshane has been completely sold to acting and making the most from it. He started off in commercials and small plays before moving to Los Angeles in search of more acting opportunities. According to him, he spent about 12 years in the industry before making a living from it.
He made his film debut as Deputy 1 in the 1997 film Maco County Jail. After that, he appeared in the short 1998 film The Census Taker as Micheal Jacoby, and in 2002, he made an appearance in films and TV series such as Landspeed Go for Broke, Alias, Crossing Jordan, The X-Files, Tremors, Legend of the Phantom Rider, and Fine.
He earned his career breakthrough in 2008 following his role as Cameron Hayes in the American action crime drama television series, Sons of Anarchy. The series was created by Kurt Sutter and starred actors such as Charlie Hunnam, Katey Sagal, Kim Coates, Tommy Flanagan, and Mark Boone Junior.
Jamie is also known for his roles in Southland and Bloodline where he starred as Sergeant Terry Hill and Eric O’Bannon respectively. For the latter, he won the Maltase Falcon Award which was given to him by the Humphrey Bogart Film Festival in Key Largo and presented by Humphrey Bogart’s son Stephen.
