Meyer Leonard’s Wife was Harassed Following her Husband’s Slur
In 2021, Elle Bielfeldt’s husband received a lot of backlash after an anti-Jewish utterance made while streaming a video game on Twitch. In the video that went viral, the former Portland Trail Blazer player was heard cussing out and this caused outrage.
The basketball player apologized for his anti-Semitic slur and even went on a live video to further apologize. Still, he was not let off the hook and the aggression was even transferred to his wife.
Social media users took to Elle’s social media pages to troll her and demanded an apology.
This slip-up by the athlete cost him a couple of cut-offs from brands such as FaZe Clan. On March 9, Leonard was also suspended from the Miami Heat following the slur. A few days later, he was traded to the Oklahoma City Thunder but he didn’t join the team and was instead traded as a salary filler. The athlete remained without a team from then until recently.
