Anne Heche’s ex-husband lost his father Polk Laffoon IV on 5th August of 2021 at 75. His father passed after having a heart attack while swimming laps in Little Traverse Bay near his summer residence.
His father was described as cultured, civil, kind, generous, and a lover of fine arts and good books. Laffoon emphasized the same thing saying his father was intelligent, funny, and civil.
Expressing his sadness over the demise, he said his father spent his last time with him, his wife, and his children in the morning before going for the swim. The realtor walked the aisle with Anne Heche on 1st September 2001. According to reports, he met the actress in 2000 when he was a cameraman on Ellen DeGeneres’ stand-up comedy tour. It was alleged that the actress left DeGeneres whom she was dating at the time for Laffon.

Coleman Laffoon’s ex-wife Anne Heche had a car accident on Friday 5th August 2022 in Los Angeles and she is currently struggling to survive. According to reports, her mini cooper first crashed into the garage of an apartment and secondly into a house and busted into flames in Los Angeles.
The home which she crashed into also caught the fire, but no one was hurt. However, she is not lucky like those in the house after sustaining pulmonary injury and burns. Since the accident, the actress is in a coma and has yet to regain consciousness.
Reports say her condition is extremely critical and required mechanical ventilation and surgical intervention.
