Young Chop is a record producer, rapper, and songwriter who gained extensive credit in the US for the production of Chief Keef’s major hits I Don’t Like, Love Sosa, and 3Hunna. However, he is notorious for always inciting rivalry with fellow artists.
Over, the years’ rivalry fueled the world of hip hop and rap and kept alive by beef. Many believed that this culture has a way of sustaining the genre since lyrical minds and rap artists cook up words of hate against each other. Whenever one disses the other, there’s bound to be retaliation which most times results in new songs released or even an album, or sometimes it results in physical clashes.
The illustration above suits the situation Chop finds himself in. He has sparked a rivalry with some famous rappers in the game.
Who Is Young Chop?
Young Chop was born on the 11th November 1993 in the United States of America to his parents. As a child, he was raised in the South Side of Chicago, Illinois, a place reputable for violence and a high rate of crime.
Some people had epiphanies about what they want to become at a tender age, and some got theirs later in life. For Chop, he knew what he wanted to become, so he started testing his production skills at a tender age. But, with a little helping hand from his cousin, he started making beats.
Along the way, he came across Chief Keef on Facebook and this meeting ignited a partnership that later results in several productions of Keef’s songs. He was also part of the production team known as BandKamp, which comprises producer and CEO BandKamp, Paris Beuller, and WaldooBeats.
He didn’t operate independently, until recently, when he launched his private autonomous label which he called Chop Squad. He immediately follows suit with a website known as SoundKitWiz.com, an online retail music production platform. He designed it to serve as a platform where producers and engineers can buy audio engineering and music production materials.
