Wilfredo Hurtado is a Colombian music manager best known as the husband of Arelys Henao, a Colombian singer, and composer. He comes from the Colombian city of Urabá Antioquia, where he was forced to flee due to a conflict that ended in the murder of some of his family members.
He settled in Medellin, where he met his wife, with whom he has been married for almost two decades and with whom he has two sons, Miguel, and Juan Esteban.

We learned that a conflict in Antioquia caused him to lose the majority of his family. During the unrest, his father, along with his three brothers, his younger sister, and his uncles, perished. He was compelled to flee and made his way to the city of Medellin.
On the other hand, his wife was born in Sabanalarga, Antioquia, Colombia, on December 3, 1976. She is 47 years old at the moment. In 1988 at the age of 12, she fled her hometown as well and settled in Medellin, where she eventually met Hurtado.

Hurtado Did A Mandatory Military Service
Wilfredo Hurtado served in the military, but it was mandatory service. Although it is unclear at what age he served and for how long, compulsory military service in Colombia is typically reserved for young people aged 18 to 24. They typically serve for 12 months and are solely assigned to staff bases, protect infrastructure and carry out administrative duties.

Hurtado and Henao met in Medellin after fleeing the fighting in their hometowns, as previously stated. We don’t know if it was love at first sight when they met, but we do know that they became inseparable after falling in love and being engaged.
Hurtado was only separated from her when he left for his mandatory military service. Henao was faithful enough to wait for his return while he was away. They resumed where they left off when he returned.
It is unknown when they married, but according to a newspaper account in 2022, the pair had been married for roughly 26 years. If that is correct, it suggests they married sometime in 1996.
In April 2022, his wife uploaded a photo of their wedding to commemorate their anniversary. It is safe to say they have been married for over two decades.
