Wilfredo Hurtado, the husband of Arely Henao, was born in Urabá, Antioquia, Colombia. Despite his fame as the spouse of the Queen of Colombian pop, little is known about his early years, family history, or date of birth.

Hurtado and Henao met in Medellin after fleeing the fighting in their hometowns, as previously stated. We don’t know if it was love at first sight when they met, but we do know that they became inseparable after falling in love and being engaged.
Hurtado was only separated from her when he left for his mandatory military service. Henao was faithful enough to wait for his return while he was away. They resumed where they left off when he returned.
It is unknown when they married, but according to a newspaper account in 2022, the pair had been married for roughly 26 years. If that is correct, it suggests they married sometime in 1996.
