Karim Kamoun is the famous husband of the World No.2 Tennis player (as of 2022), Ons Jabeur. He shot into the spotlight for his marriage to her but has been a successful athlete on his own.
Kamoun is a Russian Tunisian whose career in the sporting world began with him being a fencer. Karim was quite good at fencing and he represented both Africans and Arabs in international competitions. The 37-year-old has however moved on to fitness coaching.

The African-Arab former fencer was born on December 22, 1986. His parents, though not in the spotlight and rarely spoken about, are known to be Abdelwahab Kamoun and Raissa Kamoun.
While his mother, Raissa basically tended to the needs of their house and family, Abdelwahab worked at ‘Jeunesse et Sport’; a sports promotion program for children and young people.
Still, on the fact that his background and family life isn’t public knowledge, Lilia Kamoun, a rhythmic gymnastics coach, is reportedly his sister. This is however the only sibling that has been linked to Ons Jabeur’s husband.
About his education, we know that he has a master’s degree in sports science. This is however the most talked about educational feat available to the public.

The sport-couple, Karim and Ons got married in 2015 according to a Twitter post made by the tennis player. The union was announced on November 1, 2015, by World No. 2 and was accompanied by a photo of them in their wedding attires.
Where they met and how is still quite mysterious to people who only know that their relationship started in 2013. They presently reside in Sousse, a beachside located in their birth country, Tunisia.
Despite being married for about 7 years now, the couple does not have kids yet. It isn’t something they ruled out but they never got around to being ready for children in the past years.
Ons praised her fellow tennis player, Tatjana Maria for her ability to handle motherhood and a great career in the sport. She admits that she holds mothers and childbearing in high esteem. Furthermore, she looks forward to being a mother.
At the end of a viral game with her husband, both athletes said they were ready to become parents. Though they said they would start with raising a dog first and see how it goes from there.

Ons Jabeur’s Husband Stopped Fencing in 2017 and Took Up Coaching Her
Karim spent his early fencing years being stellar at the sport that he even competed in tournaments such as African Fencing Championship for Tunisia and the Pan Arab games. However, by 2017, he took a bow from fencing to focus more on his coaching and fitness training.
After quitting his career as a fencer, Kamoun became the coach of Tunisia’s current World No. 1 Tennis player, Ons. She is the first Arab-North African woman to have achieved the feat of being the World No. 2 Tennis player and some of the praises may be attributed to Karim.
Jabeur had her husband who is about 8 years older than her, became her physical trainer. His coaching has helped the tennis player to achieve great successes such as her first WTA 1000 title and the Madrid Open, both in 2022. He even goes with her on her tours and is ever supportive of her strides.
