Madison Keys’ parents are successful American attorneys Rick Keys and Christine Keys who have been in the background supporting their daughter’s successful career as she garners more than five tennis career titles. The parents of four children have been together for many decades.
Regarding their individual lives, Rick is still a practicing attorney who works at the Keys law office. On her part, Christine suspended her career choosing instead to support Madison years earlier.
Let’s Meet Christine Keys, Madison’s Mother
Christine Keys is of European American descent who practiced law for years before choosing to be a mother over her career growth. Focusing on her education and law career, Christine attended Marycrest University and graduated in 1988 after which she returned to De Paul University College of Law during which she interned at the 7-11 program to gain courtroom experience.
Shortly after graduating from the Chicago-based school in 1993, Madison’s mother started practicing at the Rock Island State Attorney’s office. During her time there, Christine gained experience working on felony and misdemeanor cases. After she left there, she worked at Winstein, Kavensky & Cunningham.
Moving forward, Christine sacrificed her career so she can be with her daughter at the onset of Madison’s career as a tennis player.
Notably, when Madison got a placement at Evert Academy, one of the renowned tennis training schools in Boca Raton, Christine chose to be with her daughter, thus her exit from the law profession.
Thankfully, her sacrifice has since paid off if Madison’s career is anything to go by. She reached the WTA at the age of 14 and played at four grand slams. She has won many career titles including;

Considering Christine Key’s decision to support her daughter, the proud mother has not reneged on her decision. As it is, she works at Madison’s Kindness Wins’, a foundation that fights bullying by promoting kindness.
Christine occupies the position of the president of the non-profit and through her office, she organizes the day-to-day running as well as raises funds for Kindness Wins outreaches.
Who is Rick Keys, Madison Keys’s Father?
As mentioned earlier, Rick is an American attorney and he has an African American ancestry. Though his daughter chooses to not be described as an African American or not, he is another important part of Madison’s support system. According to his LinkedIn profile, he is an alum of The John Marshall Law School and a partner at the Keys Law Offices.
Regarding his early life, many sources report that he may have been raised by a single mother. Moving forward, Rick and Madison shares an athletic passion as he is known to have played collegiate basketball. After he graduated from Augustana College, he chose to tow a different path and switched to law.
Nonetheless, he remains an influential part of his daughter’s decision to take up a tennis racket. Reportedly, Madison became influenced by the iconic tennis player, Venus Williams’s tennis outfits when she was four years old. Rick and his wife decided to channel this admiration by encouraging Madison to start practicing tennis.
As they say, after she took their advice, the rest became history. So far, Madison faced off with Venus at different points in her career with the outstanding being her breakthrough tournament at the 2015 Australian Open which saw her win in the quarter-final. His daughter’s admiration has passed onto Venus’s sister Serena due to her fight to reduce the pay gap between male and female tennis players.

All About Other Children Born During Madison Keys Parents’ Marriage
Considering that Christine and Rick are only known as the parents of the successful tennis player, many are not aware that she is not their only child. It turns out that they have three other children, all daughters whom they welcomed during their marriage.
Though it’s unclear when the two walked down the aisle, what we are sure of is that aside from Madison, their other children are, Sydney Keys who is the oldest, Montana Keys, and Hunter Keys.
