The same year, she also competed in Miss University and reached the top 10 positions but couldn’t finish as the winner. Yet, she reached the top 5 in the National Costume competition.
Since then, she continued to break walls to be notable in the entertainment industry.

How She Met J Balvin and Has a Child For the Singer
Valentina and her musician partner, J Balvin met on the set of Sigo Extrañándote music video shoot in 2017.
It was later revealed that the couple started dating and in 2018, they appeared on a red carpet in New York Fashion Week.
Their love blossomed over time and it has been informed that J Balvin is crazy in love with the former beauty queen.
In 2021, about 4 years after they met, Balvin and Valentina welcomed their first and only child, a son named Rio Balvin on 27 June 2021. The name of the child is the Portuguese, Spanish, Italian, and Maltese word for “river”.
The older Balvin named his child because he wanted him to float endlessly as a river.
Currently, the young son of the couple is 3 years old and continues to appear on the social media pages of his parents.
