Disney has been making outstanding animations for decades. Both the young and the old are entertained by the characters portrayed in them. Viewers are more drawn to these stories’ beautiful and charming characters and forget about the ugly ones mostly because they are associated with evil.
Whether portraying good or bad these not-so-appealing Disney characters are etched in the minds of film lovers forever.
1. Roz (Monsters Inc., 2001)
The large yellow slug in Monsters Inc. and Monsters University is Roz. The hideous-looking character adorns a red sweater and crazy-looking grandma glasses. She is always frowning as she goes about her administrative roles. Roz is an undercover agent as was later revealed.

2. Quasimodo (The Hunchback of Notre Dame, 1996)
Quasimodo is an unattractive protagonist in The Hunchback of Notre Dame a Disney (1996) animation. Because of his deformities, he was abandoned in the highest tower of Notre Dame and condemned to be a bell ringer. Although ostracized from society, he still maintains a gentle and kind-hearted personality.
3. Randall (Monsters Inc., 2001)
Randall is the lizard-looking villain in Monsters Inc. He possesses the powers of a chameleon. His ambition is to revolutionize the scaring industry and he would go any length to fulfill it. The reptilian character is known for making life unbearable for James P. Sullivan and Mike Wazowski.
4. Ursula (The Little Mermaid, 1989)
Ursula takes horror to a new level. She is the antagonist in Disney’s The Little Mermaid. The dangerous-looking sea witch, banished by King Triton, vowed to avenge the embarrassment. She is half human, half octopus, and has potent magical powers. The only creatures she treated with affection were Flotsam and Jetsam who she called her babies or poopsies.
5. Jafar (Aladdin, 1992)
Jafar, Royal Vizier of Agrabah is the main villain of the Disney animation Aladdin (1992). The lanky character is devious and wants to take over the throne and forcefully have Princess Jasmine by his side. You never see him without his pet parrot, Iago.
6. Yzma (The Emperor’s New Groove, 2000)
Yzma is an ugly and evil character in The Emperor’s New Groove. The power-hungry frail woman turned Emperor Kuzco into an Ilama because he fired her from her position. She looks old with no one knowing her true age. But she is agile.
7. The Fates (Hercules, 1997)
The Fates are three sisters in Hercules (1997) who share one eye to see the past, present, and future. They are more powerful than the gods but do not have the power to kill them. The demonic characters wear simple black cloaks.
8. Madam Mim (The Sword In the Stone, 1963)
Madam Mim is an overconfident wicked witch in The Sword in the Stone. She is arrogant, dishonest, and evil. She is short, overweight, and old.
9. Horned King (Black Cauldron, 1985)
In the 1985 animation Black Cauldron, the Horned King is the main villain. His mission is to get hold of the Black Cauldron and use it to unleash terror on Earth. He looks like a skeleton with green rotting flesh as skin and two horns on his head.
10. Lefou (Beauty and the Beast, 1991)
Lefou is a short and obese character in Beauty and the Beast (1991). He has a prominent nose. His name means “the fool” but he is smarter than he looks.
11. Abigail Mallard (Chicken Little)
Abby Mallard is a female duck character in Chicken Little (2005). She has two large teeth, a weird face, and a speech impediment. Others make fun of her because of her appearance but she doesn’t allow it to get to her. She has a secret crush on Chicken Little, the main character in the story.
12. Scar (The Lion King, 1994)
Scar doesn’t possess the good looks of his brother Mufasa or his nephew Simba. The Lion King villain’s ambition to rule Pride Land causes him to kill his sibling. Fans of the cartoon love to hate the scheming lion. He allies with hyenas and lays waste to the once-thriving land.
13. Ugo (Luca, 2021)
Ugo is a humanoid anglerfish and has glowing antennae and glowing eyes. He has a see-through body. His physical appearance is frightening but he is a nice character. The sea monster emerges from the deep to visit his relatives.
14. Shrek
Shrek is a green smelly and onion-loving monster whom society misunderstands and fears. He isolates himself from the world and avoids people. He rescues the beautiful princess Fiona with the help of his side-kick Donkey and Puss.
15. Sid Philips (Toy Story, 1995)
Sid Philips is the nasty kid in Toy Story (1995) who enjoys doing horrible things to his toys. The sociopath is scared out of his wits when his toys come alive. He learns not to abuse them anymore.
