Tatiana Kovylina wasn’t Born into Wealth
Tatiana Kovylina was born in Kazan, Soviet Union, on November 4, 1981. She however spent some time in Lugansk, Ukraine where her grandparents lived, and considered herself half-Ukrainian. She has an older brother named Sergie who is married and has his own family.
Because of her affiliations with Ukraine, she has also openly condemned the Russian-Ukraine war which began in February 2022.
The model revealed in an interview, that she did not hail from a wealthy background. Because of this, Tatiana had to leave home at a young age in order to fend for herself and her family.
This was where her modeling career kicked in and within a few years, she became a Russian sensation in the modeling world.
Despite her humble background, Kovylina was able to make a decent living for herself. She earned the attention of Stoli Group founder, Yuri Shefler who later became her husband and father of her kids.

After dating for 12 years, Yuri proposed to Tatiana and a year later, they got married. At this time, she was already a mother of 3 children.

Sasha Shefler was born on November 28, 2007, and their second child, another boy was born in 2010.
The Russian model and her husband welcomed their first daughter named Anna on December 5, 2016. 5 years later, their last child, son Yuri, was born.
The entire family lived in what is referred to as the Shefler Mansion. It is located in Weybridge town, near London. Asides from this house, Shefler also had a holiday house in St. Jean Cap Ferrat as well as a Tulchan Estate on Speyside, Scotland.
Her Marriage Crashed after Birthing her Last Child to the British-Israeli Businessman
Things became shaky in the Shefler household sometime in the 2020s. By 2021 the billionaire businessman and his wife had called it quits on their marriage. They however had their last son together before parting ways.
Soon after this split, Yuri was reported to be dating another woman – another supermodel. This woman is 2007’s Miss Russia, Ksenia Sukhinova. The next year, the model went on to win the Miss World beauty pageant.
Ksenia has given birth to another son for Tatiana’s ex-husband. The boy’s name is Artem and he was born in Miami, in August 2022.
Tatiana Kovylina Earned a Master’s Degree in 2022
Tatiana isn’t just a pretty face who has tasted wealth and fame, she also has a knack for education. The ex-wife of the post-Russian billionaire recently celebrated a huge win for herself.
In December 2022, at the age of 41, she graduated with a Master of Science Degree in Social Anthropology. The mother of 4 graduated with distinctions from the London School of Economics.
She celebrated her proud win on her Instagram page and also stated that her children would all soon be graduates as well.
Kovylina Still Works as a Model and Earns a Living Through that and Her Activewear Business
Tatiana Kovylina began her career as a model when she was a teenager. She even won the regional competition Elite Model Look Tatarstan at the age of 17.
Then, she became a part of the Victoria’s Secret Fashion Show.
Back in 2001, she started working with many other brands and walking the runway for them. These brands included Christian Dior, Vera Wang, Ralph Lauren, and Oscar de la Renta, to name a few.
She has also posed for adverts for brands such as Calvin Klein jeans, Givenchy, Ann Taylor, and Cole Haan.
