Stuart Charno is an American stand-up comedian, writer, and actor whose first career choice was to be a jazz musician. He even went on to study jazz in college. However, fate had other plans for him as he found himself becoming an actor overnight.

1. Stuart Charno Wanted to Become a Musician Growing up
This famous American actor never thought he would become famous as an actor or even a comedian. Growing up, Stuart fell in love with Jazz music and wanted to become a musician. He revealed that the first time he heard Jazz, he knew that was what he wanted to be doing for the rest of his life.
His passion for music started when he was tender, and by the age of 7, he started playing the guitar. He went on to attend the School of Contemporary Music in Boston, one of the few music colleges that taught jazz at the time. Due to his outstanding performance, he was made a teacher there in just a few months of being a student there.
2. He Became an Actor by Accident
Stuart revealed in an interview that he was at a club listening to a friend sing one night, when a woman, who turned out to be a talent agent, Yvette Bickoff, walked up to him and asked if he was a comedian. He responded by saying “Well, I feel funny”. Yvette then told him that she wanted to represent him, gave him her card, and asked him to go and study some acting.
He just did as he was told and studied some acting, and attended workshops and soon after, his agent started sending him to auditions. Subsequently, he got roles in 3 different movies concurrently.
3. Stuart Did a lot of Ad-Libbing as an Actor
This American actor revealed that when he started acting, he met with a director named Steve Miner. Steve recognized his comical talent and while on set, would ask him to tell a joke. If the cast laughed, it was added to the script. Stuart believed that fate brought them together because it was also Steve’s directorial debut.
He has gone ahead to feature in several other movies including Friday the 13th part 2 (1981), The Chosen (1981), Once Bitten (1985), Sleep Walkers (1992), Alien Hunter (2003), and Horrorween (2012)

Although there is not much information about his romantic life, Stuart once mentioned that he had an ex-wife named Sara Cooper. He said she was a great woman who did great things besides divorcing him. There is no record of whether or not they had children before Sara divorced him.
She is a writer who co-wrote the 3 episodes of “Star Trek: The Next Generation” with Stuart. Similarly, Sarah has written other movies including Homicide: Life on the Streets, House MD, The X Files, and Sanctuary. Stuart revealed that he and his ex-wife, Sara, had been writing scripts. They came up with different ideas which they thought were good. They found an agent who set up the meeting with the “Star Trek” producers, where they pitched their stories to them.
The producers liked their stories and got to pay for them for it. They ended up making 3 episodes of “Star Trek: The Next Generation”. This was the only story written by Stuart that has been recorded.

This actor is an all-rounder as he is also a handyman. He shared pictures of his works on his website. He revealed he was self-taught. The actor added that he admires Japanese art and his appreciation for them comes out in his pieces.

7. Where is he Now?
After his last movie Horrorween, in 2010, Stuart has taken a bow from the movie industry. He revealed that he quit acting because he did not like the art anymore, in fact, he never did.
He said acting to him was lying, which he got tired of. However, Stuart revealed that he was unto something big and revolutionary, which he would let the world know at the right time, when everything falls into place.
He has written thousands of haikus, which are Japanese poems. He said were beyond the scope of nature and as of 2015, was working on his second book. The American singer attended FearFest, where he had a lot of people travel to see him sing. Stuart also revealed he was doing a one-man show titled Brainwax.
The ex-actor having discarded the profession and revealed he was on to some big things, has left his fans wondering what these big things were and when they would get to see them come to life. However, we hope that the path he has chosen makes him happy seeing as he has never been happy being an actor.
