Stevie McCrorie was born in Stirling, Scotland on March 23, 1985. He was raised with his siblings, Michael, Paul, and Nadia in Denny Falkirk and his hometown is Alva, Clackmannanshire, Scotland. He attended St. Modan’s High School, Stirling.
Mccrorie began his singing career as a member of a band called “Scruffy Kid”. the group earned second place in the Scottish Schools’ Battle of the Bands. He was also part of other bands like; Feeling Pass, The Goodnight Story, CITY, and Voom Club which was later called Stevie and the Moon.
The band released a double A-side single Wolves and Rainbows then later on in 2010, the band released these old traditions. The band had their final show at Falkirk 20 rocks on June 16, 2013.

McCrorie’s album reached number four in Scotland and number 35 on the UK albums chart. He performed my heart never Lie on the first live show in 2016 The Voice. He returned to his career as a firefighter after he and his music PR company parted ways. the singer announced on radio times in April 2017, that he was an independent artist following the expiration of his recording contract with Decca Records in August 2016.

After he auditioned for the voice UK, performing Kodaline’s All I Want, all the four coaches Rita Ora, Tom Jones, Ricky Wilson, and Will.i.am were impressed and turned for him. Initially, his firefighters’ mates applied for him to audition without his knowledge.
Luckily for him, he survived all the battle rounds and knockouts. He was announced the winner of the voice UK on April 4, 2015, after he had defeated the only remaining opponent, Lucy O’Byrne.
