Sarah Ashley Minnich is a native of California who was born on October 17, 1987. She grew up in a close-knitted family of a creative chef mother and a nature-loving, nursery-owner father.
Ashley has an older brother whose name is Denver Minnich who is as much of a nature lover as she is. Also, she and her brother seem to share a close bond between them.
Minnich studied ‘Communication’ as an undergraduate at the University of New Mexico. However, she returned to school and got a Master’s degree in ‘Impersonal Communications’ in 2015.
Owing to her acting career, she moved to ‘The Big City’, California in pursuit of her dreams. However, she soon retreated as the outlandish lifestyle there did not suit her persona. Sarah went back home to New Mexico to be closer to her family and loved ones.

Ashley has always referred to herself as a performer since childhood. She was known to constantly put up shows and plays in her neighborhood. When she got into high school, she joined the marching band as a performer.
As Sarah Minnich got older, she realized that she was actually drawn to acting. Her first role in a 2006 horror movie titled Spring Break was sort of an eye-opener for the actress.

She is Multitalented
Being raised by an exceptionally great chef the person of her mother who was raised by a traditional chef, Sarah’s cooking skills cannot be doubted. In an interview, Minnich admitted to being a great cook. She stated that she most times preferred to eat out, however, she also cooks whenever she got in the mood.
Further showing off her culinary knowledge, she listed garlic to be her favorite spice. Adding to the list of her most trustworthy kitchen spices, are mushrooms, olive oil, and a host of other ingredients.
In addition to her cooking skills, she can hold her own at a bar. Safe for her lack of knowledge about beers, she did a good job doubling as a bartender in a local pizzeria years ago.
Minnich is also a Teacher
The Breaking Bad actress is indeed a jack of all trades. She has and may still be mastering the art of acting while sharing her already-imbibed knowledge with college students.
She teaches communication at the college in her local community in New Mexico where she relocated as a means of avoiding the crazy life in California.

Sarah has shared that during her leisure time, she loves to sew. She is a tailor who has had the skill since she was a child. She made a dress for a school competition at the age of 12 and was even instrumental in the making of a corset used in a film she was part of.
In addition to her love for sewing, the multi-talented actress also loves to commune with nature. She takes care of dogs as well as works in her dad’s nursery.
Sarah has also tried her hands-on cohosting as well. She was the host of ‘The New Mexico Actor Showcase’ a local television show in New Mexico. On some episodes of the show, she worked with Barbie Robertson as her co-host.

Sarah Ashley Minnich is Married to Jannis Schelenz
Well yes, she absolutely is. Sarah had been in a relationship with Jannis Schelenz for a while before they got engaged on the 20th of December 2016. They remained engaged for the next three years before they got married in 2019.
Jannis is a director of photography who has been part of movies such as The Misanthrope, Blue Boy, and St. Augustine to name a few. He and his wife, Sarah reside in Albuquerque, New Mexico.
The Actress is involved in Philanthropic Works
Jannis Schelenz’s partner, Sarah is quite passionate about different causes in life. Her interest ranges from animal rights and protection to environmental safety and catering to the marginalized, abused, and homeless.
