Rindy Ross is an American rock singer popularly known as a saxophonist and lead singer for the Quarterflash rock band. She and her husband Marv Ross founded the rock band in 1980 in Portland, Oregon. She was the band’s lead vocalist, playing the saxophone while her husband plays the guitar.
Her ability to play the saxophone made the band stand out among others. No wonder the band made an amazing hit in 1981 titled Harden My Heart, attracting the attention of so many rock lovers.
She didn’t have the slightest ideas that she would go into singing since she loved teaching. However, Marv changed that when he quit his teaching job and take up music full time. Rindy had no choice but to go with him on that and they became formidable together.

Rindy Ross was born in Portland, Oregon, US on 26th June 1951. She is currently 73 years old. Racially, she is an American by nationality, belonging to the white ethnicity.
She is educationally sound, having attended various levels of education. She attended a high school where she started nursing her singing abilities while in grade 3. After high school graduation; she attended the University of Western Oregon and earned a teaching degree.
After completing her university education, she took up a teaching job at Central Oregon. But 3 years into the job she quit, going into music, having been influenced by her husband’s decision to take up music too.
That risk she took for music marked the beginning of her music career. She and Marv immediately formed Seafood Mama, where she became the band’s saxophone player, performing in bars in Seattle and Portland.
With Marv’s incredible songwriting capabilities and her amazing saxophone tones and vocals, soon, they landed a recording deal. And that was how the Quarterflash band was birthed.

Marv Ross is the husband of the American vocalist and saxophone player Rindy Ross. They first crossed paths at the University of Western Oregon where both of them were studying for a degree in education. After performing at a show together, she and Marv fell in love and married each other.
Asides from his songwriting abilities, Marv was a risk-taker. He convinced his wife to quit her teaching job take up music. She was skeptical about it at the beginning but later joined him.

Rindy loved singing right from her younger days. While growing up as a child, she and her sister normally sing in the basement of their home or in the kitchen while washing plates. Little did she know she would later become take up music on a professional level.
