Peter Madrigal and Raquel Levis, both stars of the reality show Vanderpump Rules dated briefly in 2022 before going their separate ways. Yet, after Leviss’ affair with another costar came out in 2023, it gave a new angle to her relationship with the Sur restaurant manager.
Prior, they both dated a number of their costars on and off the show and Leviss went as far as getting engaged to James Kennedy, yet, this new revelation shows that there is so much more to learn about what is shown on and off the cameras. The Pageant Queen Contestant and Peter Madrigal Went for their First Outing in Early 2022
As the story goes, Raquel, a former pageant queen, and Madrigal, manager of Sur restaurant went out for the first time in early 2022. At the time, they were just getting to know each other.
Moreso, she had recently broken up with her long-time boyfriend of six years and fiance, James Kennedy. They started dating in 2016 and decided to take their relationship to the next level when they got engaged in May 2021. However, things did not go as planned.
According to sources, the reality star did not officially break up with Kennedy till the night before they filmed the season 9 reunion special of the show. Reportedly, she had doubts about the relationship and when she finally brought up the issue with him, his reaction was calm. They finally broke up in December 2021. At first, she was rumored to be dating Tom Schwarts, a costar and ex-husband of her close friend Katie Maloney, a development that shocked many. Reportedly, Raquel and Tom shared a kiss at Coachella, however, Schwartz later clarified the matter by stating he was not at Coachella.
Despite refuting these rumors, in August 2022, the two were said to have gotten cozy at the wedding of their co-stars, Scheana Shay and Brock Davis. However, nothing came out of these speculations.
Unsurprisingly, Raquel became involved with Madrigal. At first, he invited her for drinks which she agreed to. The reality star later revealed that she wanted to start dating, thus she agreed to have drinks with Madrigal as a way forward.
Peter Madrigal And Raquel Leviss Breakup: The Truth
While they enjoyed their earlier dates, the relationship between the two did not take off as expected. On her part, the California native made it clear that Madrigal was her ‘starter pony’ in an interview.
In his defense, Madrigal refuted being anybody’s pony. Moving on, the two’s relationship came to an end within the same year. As it is, it became an item again when an unaired clip of Vanderpump’s Rules titled Secrets Revealed was shown. It turns out that she dumped him at the Daily Mail party in 2022.
The following morning, the owner of SUR, Lisa Vanderpump as well as Raquel’s ex-fiance confronted him about the previous night’s breakup but he seemed to have forgotten it. You may be curious about this; the SUR owner explained that Madrigal may have been too drunk to know he was dumped or he chose to ignore it hence his demand for another breakup.
It turns out that she was afraid of breaking his heart despite not being into him all the while. Thankfully, they were able to deal with the breakup issue when he confronted her about it.
Did Raquel Cheat on Madrigal?
Despite not being together for some time, their relationship made it to the headline again in March 2023. According to the reports, the SUR server, Raquel slept with Tom Sandoval, her costar and boyfriend to her friend Arina Madix. While the news just came out in March, some sources trace the affair to as far back as June 2022.
Per the speculations, they slept together in the house that Sandoval shared with Madix when she went for her grandmother’s burial. Thusly, this has raised curiosity with regard to her relationship status with Madrigal at the time. It is unclear whether she was together with Madrigal or just casually seeing him at this point.
Moving on, after the news of her involvement with Tom, both came clean and even apologized to Madix and their fans, however, it sped the breakup of her friend’s relationship. On Raquel’s part, she checked into a mental health facility to help her cope with all that was happening.

What Happened to Madrigal After Their Breakup
The 40-year-old is still on the ‘Pump Rules’ series. Since his breakup with Leviss, he has mostly kept to himself while focusing on managing SUR both on camera and off. In fact, he has not revealed whether he is seeing anyone as of this writing. Regardless, he is known to have taken jabs at his ex-girlfriend in interviews and podcasts.
He gave snippets about her place in his life in a game of ‘marry, f**k, kill” which was aired on the podcast ‘S*x, Love, and What Else Matters’. The University of Southern California alum revealed he would marry Katie, f**k Stassi, and k*ll Rachel. Since Rachel is the English version of Raquel, we won’t be wrong to link his joke to his ex-girlfriend.
It would be recalled that he and Stassi Schroeder dated years before Vanderpump Rules started airing. Later the relationship ended when Stassi accused Peter of cheating on her with her friend. Yet, he still speaks well of her.
Also, he was together with Katie Maloney for a short time in 2011 before she got together with her ex-husband, Tom Schwartz.
