There came a point where he contemplated being a lawyer. But then a friend later invited him for an audition for a play called The American Dream and that was how he got into acting.
After he graduated from Brown University, Nick moved to Los Angeles to advance his film career. He said in an interview that starting was not so smooth for him as he even contemplated taking other jobs like bartending. However, he was able to begin working in the theater and performed in many acclaimed plays in the 1980s.
Nick’s appearance in The Ambulance (1990), where he starred as Hugo was a breakthrough for his career. This also opened him up to other larger TV and film productions like Lethal Weapon 3 (1992), The X-Files (1994) and Eraser (1996).
The actor has also clinched several interesting roles in critically acclaimed mainstream movies. Among others, he is praised for his role as Hatchett in the third installment of Mel Gibson’s famed action franchise, Lethal Weapon (1992).
