It All Started with a Purchase
Jimmy Donaldson famously known as MrBeast, bought a huge vast of land, which he eventually turned into the MrBeast Headquarters, in 2014.
This property located in North Carolina has a studio, housing, and vast land for whatever other project. The studios on this campus have been described as being the size of aircraft hangers. There are warehouses that house props used for his content.
The cost of the property known as the HQ was estimated to be $14.1 million. It houses tech studios worth almost $3 million.
It is in this new location that MrBeast, his guests, and participants would have ample space and equipment to create and put out content.
Then the Challenge
MrBeast hosted a challenge that took the shape of the Olympics – involving athletic competitions. This competition involved people from all over the world representing their country, in North Carolina.
It was in the form of a running challenge where the participants would overcome hurdles and obstacles.
The contest was meant to be just that, with no serious damages, but things didn’t work out that way.
Unfortunately, it was too intense that people’s lives and health were at stake. Several athletes who competed in it ended up being injured.
Out of 200 people who participated in the competition, about 3 had minor injuries. The injured contestants were seen by medical personnel and released, in no time.
Despite encountering this challenge, MrBeast and his crew have reportedly continued filming after tending to the injured.

Will MrBeast Injured Participant Get any Compensation?
Jimmy Donaldson is well on his way to being one of the people with the most subscribers on Youtube. In addition to this feat, in 2022, Forbes believed that he would be the richest YouTuber on earth with a net worth of $500 million, then.
The 27-year-old businessman is known for his philanthropy as seen in many of his YouTube videos where he gives out wads of cash. He also owns a couple of other paying Youtube channels.
With this background history, it won’t be a big deal if the injured participants of MrBeast’s competition get some monetary compensation. However, there is no statement about that yet. This may be due to the fact that the injuries the competitors had were described as ‘minor’.
Nonetheless, there could be a repetition of what happened when Netflix hosted a real-life Squid Games competition. A lot of people were left in the blistering cold while some were carried out on a stretcher. At the end of the day, Netflix denied the severity of the injuries and defended its filming condition.
