Melissa revealed in October 2017 that she was also subjected to multiple sexual advances by Harvey Weinstein. This came in the wake of the ‘Me Too’ movement as about two dozen women accused Harvey of varying degrees of sexual misconduct, including rape. Melissa said that Weinstein had made three uninvited advances toward her, all orchestrated by another woman who was serving as his assistant. According to her, he first arranged for lunch with her and flirted throughout the meal.
