Matt Williams, the San Diego Padres third base coach and former baseball star has been married to three different women between 1987 and 2023. He was first married to Tracie Duncan from 1987 to 1998 before moving on with Michelle Johnson for 3 years and eventually to Erica Monroe who was his wife for 2 decades.
Even though Matt may not have recorded a successful marriage, his career in sports has been flourishing since he debuted in the late 80s. Before his coaching career began, he was a five-time all-star, a Gold Glove infielder and a home run champion.

Michelle Johnson became Matt Williams wife two years after he divorced from his first wife, Tracie. Information on how and when the pair met is not known to the public. What is known however is that their relationship saw them get married in January, 15 1999.
The pair would then stay married for almost 4 years before getting divorced in 2002 on the grounds of irreconcilable differences.
Matt’s ex-wife, Michelle is an Alaska-born former model and actress who is best known for portraying Jennifer Lyons in the 1984 romance comedy film “Blame it on Rio”. The San Diego Padres coach, Matt Williams decided to get married for the third time in 2003 after his two failed marriages. According to our findings, the pair crossed paths in the early 2000s at an event and soon became friends. However, Erica recalled in an interview that she didn’t want to date Matt since he was an athlete. Be it as it may, she decided to open up to love after a month following his persistency.
