Marquise Jackson, also called 25 Cent is the 27 years old son of Curtis Jackson “50 Cent” as well as a rapper. Marquise Had a Good Relationship With His Father in His Earliest Life

Marquise Jackson was born on October 13, 1997, as the first child of 50 Cent and his then-girlfriend, Shaniqua Tompkins.

At the time the younger Cent was born, he shared a close relationship with his father who would take him to school, and do a lot of other things for him.

According to Marquise, he saw his father as a superhero growing up.

However, the relationship between his parents ended when the celebrity child was about 10-11 years old in 2008.

The breakup between Cent and Shaniqua led to a prolonged custody battle and at the end of the day, Marquise’s custody was given to his mother. At the same time, Cent reportedly only had the opportunity to see his son only one weekend per month.

A year later, 50 Cent reached out to Instagram in 2018 to say that he would not have a bad day if Marquis was hit by a bus.

The comment was made after a post showed 25 Cent hanging out with his father’s longtime rival Kenneth “Supreme” McGriff. The man in question was said to have been involved in a plot to Kill 50 Cent in 2000.

Several comments were directed to 50 Cent in a negative manner. This led the artist and entrepreneur to post on Twitter that the people his son was looking up to are “a reflection of the negative energy” he embraced toward him even though he had paid 25 Cent’s mother $1.3 million on child support.

The back and forth between the father and son continued over the years and in early October 2022, Marquise posted an image of himself with “ENTITLED” written on the floor with dollar bills.

The same day, 50 Cent posted a scene from his famous Power where he played Kenan. In the video, he spoke about how his son in the film failed him again before shooting him.

In response to the video, Marquise posted an image on Instagram that captured Power. In the caption, he claimed that his father would have told him that he needed him to promote the series rather than using it in the manner he did. He also claimed that he did not need any money from the In Da Club singer.

50 Cent Does Not Have a Good Relationship With His First Son’s Mother

The Grammy award-winning rapper does not have a good relationship with his first baby mama and mother of Marquise, Shaniqua. They’ve gone back and forth on social media and have called each other names.

According to Cent, his oldest child may have embraced his mother’s perspective on him and that may have contributed to their rocky relationship.

In her own defense, Shaniqua denied 50 Cent’s allegations and claimed that he had mentally abused their child.

She further claimed that he does not have a relationship with his son because he chose not to, bullied him, threatened him, and talked to him in an unusual manner.

Whatever the case, this is not 50’s only time of having had an unpleasant relationship with an ex. Although it was reported that he and his ex, Daphne were co-parenting their son, Sire Jackson amicably, they later fell apart.
