Meet Karen Payne, Liam Payne’s Mother
Liam Payne’s mother is Karen Payne. She was born on June 20 1959 in England and she became famous thanks to her son. Although not much of her personal life is known, it has been revealed that she once worked as a nursery nurse in the United Kingdom.
On August 29, 2024, less than 2 months before the tragic death of her son, Karen took to social media to celebrate the singer’s birthday and tell him how proud she was of the kind of man he became.
Meet Geoff Payne, Liam Payne’s Father
Another person the singer left behind is his father, Geoff Payne. Geoff was born on November 281957 in England, where he was also brought up.
In the same way as his wife, Geoff has stayed away from public life however, it has been reported that he worked for the aerospace manufacturing corporation Goodrich.
Geoff has never been linked to music, but he is claimed to have been instrumental in his son’s career path as a musician thanks to the support he gave the former One Direction singer.
Liam Payne’s Siblings
Liam was the only son of the three children of his parents. His two sisters are Ruth Gibbins and Nicola Payne.
Nicola Payne
Nicola Payne is the oldest sibling of Liam Payne. She was born on May 27, 1988, in England, just like all other members of her family.
Nicola gained public notice thanks to her brother’s success as a musician. She has close to a hundred thousand followers on Instagram.
Although it is not clear if she is now married, it has been made known that Liam Payne’s sister once dated a man known as Nick Farnell. The couple welcomed their only daughter, Ffion Nevaeh Farnell on June 22, 2020.

Ruth Gibbins
Ruth is the middle child of the family. She was born on November 9, 1990, in England where she was raised with Liam and Nicola.
Ruth is the most known member of the family only after Liam. She has a strong presence on various social media platforms including Instagram where she has close to a hundred thousand followers and X, formerly Twitter, where she has close to a million followers.
She married Thomas Gibbins in 2016 and the union has been blessed with a son.
Ruth and her brother share a very close relationship and she always shares his photos on social media.
Liam Payne’s Son- Bear Payne
Another person left behind by Liam is his son, Bear Grey Payne. The child was born to the musician and his girlfriend, Cheryl Fernandez on March 22, 2017, at London’s Chelsea and Westminster Hospital.
Bear’s parents met in 2016 a year before they had their son and a year after his birth, they parted ways. However, they still continued to be close because of their son.
Liam, who revealed he always wanted to be a young father was close to his son. He once stated that although he loved making music, the best thing ever was that he made songs that his son loved.
