Lenora Darlene Bailey was born on December 4, 1953, in Bakersfield, Kern County, California to Don Richard Bailey and Lenora Belle Wilson Bailey. She shares the same name as her mother and two other family members making her the fourth generation Lenora in her family.
Moving on, Lenny’s father was a US Army veteran who served in the Korean and Vietnam wars.
From available records, she had two younger sisters, Zana and Katrina whom she had a very close relationship.
Lenny discovered a passion for live music and the nightlife. Unsurprisingly, she would sneak her sisters to go to these events together. During these times, she did her best to keep them safe as she would hold their hands as they ran as fast as possible to cross the streets. At one point his assistant is said to have ensured he had breakfast before he started drinking for the day.
The Truth about Their Divorce
Despite the strain of his substance abuse on their marriage, the cause of their divorce is linked to jealousy and unfaithfulness. A look at the timeline shows that Vaughan’s career continued to expand while his marriage was sinking. The couple who was said to argue alot and combined with his substance abuse, it became inevitable that they had to do something fast.
About the time, Vaughan was trying to get clean and had been to several facilities. But Lenora did not visit him in rehab and after he was released the guitarist moved into his mother’s house in 1986 to continue his recovery journey.
At this point, accusations of infidelity started between the two. Some sources allege, Lenora was hanging out with other men and even went as far as locking their house and cutting off electricity when Stevie returned home.
Per the same source, Vaughan also came in contact with the Russian photographer and model Janna Lapidus in New Zealand. Though he was still married, the pair started dating.
Eventually, Vaughan filed for divorce in 1987. Alleged, Janna Lapidus contributed to his decision to leave the marriage. Notably, the divorce impacted his career because he could not write or record any songs for the next few years till the divorce proceedings were finalized. She Remarried after her Divorce From the Blues Guitarist
Lenora gave love a chance again when she married Randy Cobb. It is unclear when they got married, yet, the marriage is known to have produced her only child, Crystal Belle Cobb.
Focusing on her second marriage, Lenora and her husband were more understanding of each other. The family is said to have moved and lived in a teaching hospital in China when their only child was only two years old.
While there, Lenora got a degree in acupuncture while her husband got his in Therapeutic massage. Added to this, Lenora became a reiki master, a trained person who used energy-healing techniques.
She also explored areas like astrology and gardening which would affect how she saw the world. Notably, she believed in astrology and believed she would return as watermelon or parsley.
At some point, the family left China. She settled in the fishing Island in Mexico.

Lenora Darlene Bailey has been dead for some years now. According to her obituary, she died in Isla Mujeres, Quintana Roo, Mexico on July 27, 2018.
Her child revealed that Lenora enjoyed a long life and found fulfillment. Her final wish was to die in her home, in her bed, and with no clothes on. This way she would break through to the other side.
