Juli Reding was an American actress and model who passed on the 16th of September 2021 in Springfield, Missouri; she died of natural causes at the age of 85.
Though Juli Reding is no more, history will always remember her for her contributions to the motion pictures industry. The Miss Hollywood Stars of April 1957 is best known for her roles in Sea Hunt (1958), Tormented (1960), and Burke’s Law (1963) amongst other movies and TV shows.
In Tormented, a horror thriller directed by Bert I. Gordon, she played Vi Manson and went about hunting Tom Stewart (Richard Carlson), a former lover who allowed her to fall to death so that she wouldn’t get in the way of his new relationship.

Unsurprisingly, news of Juli Reding’s death left many wondering what happened to the actress. Based on what her family has disclosed, it wouldn’t be unreasonable to conclude that the Why Must I Die? actress died of natural causes—old age.
Born on the 28th of November 1935 in Quanah, Texas, Reding died on the 16th of September 2021 in Springfield, a city in southwestern Missouri. It is said that she passed away peacefully surrounded by her loved ones.
One of seven children born to her parents, Roy Reding and Ruth Wallace Reding, Juli, until her death, was one of only two of the siblings who were still alive. Before she died, her parents, and five of her siblings—Jack Reding, Edward Reding, Billie Beckman, Helen Workman, and Virginia Gray—had already passed.
More so, her ex-husband Reese Taylor, husband Herbert Hunter, and son Aaron Curtis Taylor all died before her. Amongst other relatives, she is survived by her son Christopher D. Taylor, her grandson Christopher H. Taylor, and her sister Judy Siebert.
Juli Reding Made Her Acting Debut in 1957 and Was Seen in Dozens of Productions
Although she was born in Quanah, Texas, Juli was raised in Branson, Missouri, where she attended Branson High School. After she graduated from the school, she proceeded to Southwest Missouri State University. She would later relocate to Los Angeles, California, to focus on pursuing and building a career as an actress.
If we are not mistaken, she made her screen debut in 1957 when she appeared as Cigarette Girl in The Helen Morgan Story. It was an uncredited role followed by another in the “Las Vegas Story” episode of Mr. Adams and Eve, also in 1957.
Juli Reding remained active for the rest of the decade and was last seen in 1987 when she played Mrs. Townsend in the “Down with a View” episode of Murder, She Wrote.

She Was Married at Least Thrice in Her Lifetime
To the best of our knowledge, the first time Juli Reding got married was in 1951. From what we gathered, she got married to a Missouri native named George Franklin Hildebrandt.
Before that decade ran out, she gave birth to her twin sons, Aaron Curtis Taylor and Christopher D. Taylor.
In 1962, precisely on the 25th of August, she got married to Reese Hale Taylor Jr. who was an attorney. The union didn’t last long as they parted ways in July 1964.
Roughly five years later, on the 28th of November 1969, she got married to Herbert L. Hunter who was an investment banker. Theirs was a happy marriage that had them traveling around the world and campaigning for causes dear to their hearts. The union ended on the 7th of December 2008 when Hunter passed on at Cedars-Sinai Medical Center in Los Angeles. He was 99 and two weeks shy of his 100th birthday.
