John Nesta Marley was born on June 28, 2003, as the fourth child of Lauryn Hill and her ex-husband Rohan Marley (son of Bob Marley). In Vatican City in December 2003, a few months after John’s birth, his mother spoke of the corruption, exploitation, and abuses by some Catholic Priests in the United States.
The speech was considered controversial, especially among the Catholic faithful. The Catholic League called his mother “pathologically miserable”.
