Janibek Alimkhanuly is a middleweight boxer from Almaty, Kazakhstan. He began his professional boxing career in his hometown but is now a well-known and celebrated name in the boxing world.
Throughout his professional career, the boxer has not lost any of his matches. He has fought against a lot of big contenders and won them mostly on KOs. As a result of this, he is very confident that his match against Denzel Bently slated for November 12, 2022, would be a success for him.

This Qazaq boxer has always had an interest in the sport since he was a child. He grew up sharing his love for boxing with his father and grandfather. By the time he was a little over 5, he decided to be a boxer.
At the age of 6, the April 1, 1993-born, already had his first fight as an amateur boxer. Although he lost this match, he was not deterred and remained focused on being a renowned boxer one day.
17 years later, he made his professional debut as a boxer after years of training. His first fight was in Almaty where he fought Milton Nunez. This time, Janibek Alimkhanuly won the match and began to climb the ladder of success.
As of November 2022, before his match scheduled for the 12th, he had 12 wins of 12 matches. This goes to show that he has never lost any of his professional matches since his debut on October 26, 2016.
The Boxer is a Three-time Olympic Gold Winner
Janibek Alimkhanuly qualified to compete in the 2013 AIBA World Boxing Championships. He made it to the final match where he finished as the winner and went home with the Gold medal.
In the same year, he won the Gold medal at the Asian Championships and in the next year, he also won Gold at the 2014 Asian Games.
Unfortunately, he lost the middleweight division match at the 2016 Summer Olympics. He represented his country in this competition just a few months before turning pro. Janibek Alimkhanuly lost his match in the quarter-finals.
He was Promoted to WBO Middleweight in 2022
Janibek Alimkhanuly was promoted to the WBO Champion on August 30, 2022. This promotion came after Andrade Demetrius was ordered by the World Boxing Organization to defend his title against Janibek.
This order was given twice with the first being on November 30, 2021. However, Demetrius wriggled his way out of this and instead went on to fight Zach Parker 6 months later.
With Alimkhanuly’s defeat of Danny Dignum in May 2022, it became necessary for the fight between Andrade and the Qazaq-born to happen. It was after this that Janibek was given the championship title.

This match is one that a lot of people look forward to, especially fans of Janibek ‘Qazaq Style’ Alimkhanuly and Denzel Bentley. The match sees a face-off between Alimkhanuly who has never lost any of his professional matches and the English boxer who has lost only 1 of 19 games.
5 feet, 11 and a half inches tall Janibek has a reach of over 71 and is skilled at the Southpaw boxing stance. His opponent is however 5 feet 11 inches tall, has a reach of 73, and is of the orthodox boxing stance.
Asides from his boxing stance and his rich history in boxing, Janibek Alimkhanuly has one year more experience in boxing than Denzel who began his professional career on October 14, 2017.
Janibek Alimkhanuly trains with Buddy McGrit and his manager is Egis Klimas who was a Lithuanian boxer but now owns a gym and manages boxers.
On Saturday, the middleweight champion would however have to defend this WBO title. While other boxers avoided fighting the Almaty-born, Denzel Bentley proved to be unafraid to fight.

He is Very Proud of His Roots
According to a tweet made by the Qazaq professional boxer a few weeks before his fight against Denzel, he hinted at readiness for the showdown. By tracing his roots and equally emphasizing how proud he was of them, he stated:
“Our ancestors were warriors. I grew up listening to the exploits of our ancestors. They didn’t fight with gloves on. They didn’t fight only 12 rounds. They fought to the end, they had a sword in their hands! I am glad that I am Qazaq and represent the QAZAQ nation!.”
Janibek Alimkhanuly, the famous boxer who has never lost any fight nor had any draw, is very confident of his next match. If he wins the fight against Denzel, he would not only have won his 13th match but will also defend his middleweight championship title.
