Also known by his birth name, Jacob Scott Sinclair, his creative prowess is felt in the pop and alternative songs he writes, sings, and produces. Jacob Scott Sinclair was born on March 7, 1985 in Idaho. His parents and sibling’s identity is not known.
Focusing on his childhood, Jake had always been passionate about music right from a young age. At first, he started playing music at the age of 7 years by listening to The Beatles.

He started his musical career in 2003 as a member of The Films. The band’s lineup included Michael Trent, Kenneth Harris, and Adam Blake whom he attended High School. In 2006, the band released the EP Being Bored as well as their debut album Dont’ Dance Rattlesnake. During that time, they toured countries like Japan and Germany and gained popularity. They released their last work in 2009, Oh Scorpio, and disbanded in 2010.
However, some of the contacts like Butch Walker, the American singer made a huge impact on Sinclair such that he moved to Los Angeles to work for the singer as an engineer.
Aside from Walker, he also worked in different roles for other stars like Taylor Swift, Avril Levigne, and the pop band, Panic! At the Disco. In 2013, he wrote and produced his first Gold single Harlem for New Politics. He added to his popularity with 5 Second of Summer’s platinum single She Looks So Perfect(2014)
Remarkably, he has worked closely with the Panic! At The Disco till the band disbanded in 2023. He contributed to many of their works either as an engineer, composer, or producer. Between 2013 and 2022, he worked on their albums Vice & Vices(2011), This is Gospel(2013), Death of a Bachelor(2016), Pray For The Wicked(2018), and Viva Las Vengeance(2022).
More on his versatility, he has played the guitar on Taylor Swift’s Everything Has Changed as well as fronted Alohaha, a pop duo.

The Los Angeles-based pair keep their relationship off social media instead of preferring to focus on their careers. Like Sinclair, Kate has been in the media lights for many years whether she is acting, doing comedy parts, or singing.
Looking closely at his wife’s life, Kate’s musical ability was what shot her to the limelight in Scrubs(2001-2010). She acted the part of Stephanie Gooch, a ukulele player and girlfriend of Ted Buckland(Sam Lloyd) on the sitcom.

His Wife went Through a Lung Cancer Surgery
Despite living away from media scandals like most celebrity relationships are prone to, Jake’s wife came to the limelight in December 2023. She revealed that she was diagnosed with lung cancer via a TikTok update.
According to her, she had never smoked a cigarette and the diagnosis came as quite s surprise.
Needless to say, she was thankful that the disease was found on time and she went through surgery to remove it.
