Heather Hopper won the hearts of many fans as a child actress in the late 80s and early 90s. She was famous for her role as Nikki Coleman and DiBlasio in the TV series Good Morning, Miss Bliss, and Troop Beverly Hills.
However, Heather’s career started moving towards the exit door after her first postpartum break in 1998. On her return in 2001, she took up a few movie roles and finally faded off the screen.

The Early Life of Heather Hopper
Heather Hopper was born to her parents on September 16, 1976. She grew up in Army Trail, Illinois, USA with other family members whose identities are elusive to the media. Heather’s father is a movie director while her mother was a therapist.
Though an actress, it’s not known if she had any form of formal training since details regarding her educational pursuits are not known.
She Suffered Anorexia as a Teenager
Heather had a great childhood until she was diagnosed with Anorexia, an eating disorder. As a result, she had to visit a lot of therapists. However, when her weight loss became alarming, her parents had to send her to a rehab center.
Heather revealed in the ‘One Woman Show’ that she was the focus of serious psycho-analysis while at the rehabilitation center. According to her, every day of her life at the center felt like an adventure because she had to attend a large range of therapy groups which were most times funny.
The now 48 years old added that though it was a tough journey, she is happy to have taken that path and also thankful that she has recovered.
Heather Hopper Had a Brief Career in Acting
Heather started her acting career in 1987 at the age of 11. She starred as Leslie Jenner in the TV series Punky Brewster. and thereafter earned other minor roles in Larry Shandling’S Show as Carolyn and in Good Morning, Miss Bliss as Nikki Coleman. However, she was replaced when the show was changed to Saved by the Bell.
Nonetheless, in 1989, she earned a bigger role in the comic series Troop Beverly Hills. Portraying Tessa DiBlasio, she became the favorite character of many viewers and was catapulted to stardom.

On her return, she portrayed Lady Roxana Hellsubus in Elvira’s Haunted Hills. Thereafter, she appeared in The Sheild (2002) and Miss Match (2003)
Howbeit in 2004, after her brief role as a Surrogate Candidate in the TV series Passion, Heather took another break from the screen and is yet to return.

As stated, Heather made a brief comeback in 2004 for the movie Passion. After that, in 2009 she was featured on the One Woman Show to share her adventures at the rehabilitation center.
While a lot of fans thought it was a great way to have returned after the long hiatus, Heather simply crawled back into her shell of privacy. Surprisingly, she showed up for the 30th-anniversary reunion of the Troop Beverly Hill movie cast in 2019 at the Beverly Hills Hotel.
At the moment, though a clearer picture of her career is still elusive to the media, some sources have it that she serves as a therapist to other patients in her home state of California while others have concluded that she hosts human interest projects.
It is no news that many actors over the years have given up their careers in the entertainment industry to settle for other formal jobs but it is also true that others have made a victorious comeback.
