Hazel Gordy, daughter of Motown founder Berry Gordy, was previously married to Jermaine Jackson of the Jackson 5. The marriage lasted from December 15 1973 to 1988 and they had three children: Jermaine La Jaune, Autumn Joi, and Jaimy.
Born August 24, 1954, Hazel used to work as a model and also at her father’s record label, the Motown record label. She also participated in several social activities before she went on to join her family’s business.

Jermaine Jackson’s ex-wife Hazel Joy Gordy was born on August 24, 1954, and she is currently 70 years old. Her parents Berry Gordy and Thelma Louise Coleman married in 1953 but the lasted marriage for only 6 years.

The former couple married when they were both 19 in 1973. They first met during a recording session in 1968 at the age of 15. At that time, Hazel was a model and she spent time at her father’s record label.
Their union was described as the show-business wedding of the year and the union of two dynasties. Their wedding ceremony reportedly cost over $200,000.
Around that time, Jermaine and his brothers were signed to Motown Records but after about five years, they decided to leave. However, Jermaine decided to stay and many believed it was because he was married to Berry Gordy’s daughter.

Hazel discovered Jermaine had been unfaithful
The seemingly happy marriage shattered when Hazel got to know about Jermaine’s infidelities. According to several sources, in 1986, she found out that her then-husband had been cheating on her with Margaret Maldonado, who was already carrying his child.
She was devastated and decided to leave Jermaine Jackson in 1988. Interestingly, that was not the only extramarital affair Jermaine had. He also dated Whitney Houston for almost a year while he was still married to her.
After the divorce, Berry Gordy’s oldest daughter took custody of their three kids.
According to the Chicago Reader, Hazel Gordy, who divorced Jermaine after 14 years of marriage, later charged that he attempted to rape her one night after visiting with their children.
While Hazel Gordy lived off the grid, her ex-husband had two children with his mistress, Margaret. In 1993, he split from Margaret and married Alejandra Genevieve Oaziaza. The marriage ended in 2004 then three years later, he married an Afghanistan, Halima Rashid, that too crashed in 2016.

Jermaine Jackson’s first wife has been a licensed real estate agent for the Beth Styne Group. Her love for real estate ignited when she accompanied her ex-husband, Jermaine on his worldwide musical tours. She then decided to start something outside the entertainment industry.
In her later years, Hazel adopted a raw vegan lifestyle for health reasons and enjoys practicing yoga, bodybuilding, and barre classes.
While she is at that, her ex-husband was accused of being a deadbeat dad in 2013 – not just once, but twice. According to TMZ, Jermaine Jackson refused to pay his child support bills, based on allegations levied by his baby mama, Alejandra Jackson.
In his defense, the co-singer of I Want Me Back claimed that he could not afford to pay child support.
