Henry Marcus George Lopes was born into a super-wealthy Astor Family, on October 7, 1977, in the United Kingdom. His parents are George Edward Lopes and Sarah Violet Astor. The only son of the couple, he has two sisters, Lorna Violet Lopes, and Sabrina Helen Lopes.
Harry Lopes attended British High School, and from there he went to the University of Edinburgh, where he graduated with a degree in Accounting and Finance. He then attended the Institute of Chartered Accountants in England and Wales and bagged a Master of Arts Honors in Social Anthropology.

Queen Consort Camilla’s son-in-law started his career as a model for Calvin Klein, a fashion brand that offers modern and sophisticated styles for men and women.
However, his career experienced a paradigm shift after he delved fully into Accounting. He began his career as an Accountant in Grant Thorton, UK, an accounting and consulting firm. Lopes later moved to Chaarat Gold Holdings Limited, where he worked as the Chief Financial Officer & Group Financial Controller.
Again, his career experienced another shift in 2011, when he went into renewable energy development. He started by supervising and managing installations of LED lighting, Solar PV, wind, biomass, and voltage optimization.
Other companies he has worked with include Solstice Renewables, Orpheus Cyber, and GridX Africa Development.

After discovering his love for renewable energy, the former model went all out by creating a company of his own. In 2017, Lopes founded Eden Renewables, a company that develops rooftop and ground mount solar projects. He currently serves as the CEO and Founder of the company.
In 2021, he was accused of using underhand tactics to build a 220-acre Solar farm on a beauty spot in Wiltshire. Lopes claimed that the Solar farm will provide power to 13,000 homes but the residents of Wiltshire were not having it. They claimed it will distort the landscape of the community and cause damage to wildlife and biodiversity.

Harry Lopes got married to the daughter of Queen Consort Camilla, Laura Parker Bowles, on May 6, 2006, at St. Cyriac’s Church, Lacock, Wiltshire, after courting for a while. Guests from the wedding were treated to a reception at Ray Mill, an estate belonging to the Queen Consort.
At the time of their wedding, Laura, a graduate of art history and marketing from Oxford Brookes University, was a motoring correspondent for Tatler magazine, where her brother Tom worked. She wore a dress made by London Designer, Robinson Valentine, the same designer who made her mother’s wedding dress when she married King Charles III.
Harry and his wife, Laura Lopes, welcomed their first child, Eliza, on January 16, 2008. Eliza would later become a bridesmaid at the wedding of her step-uncle, Prince William to Catherine Middleton on April 29, 2011, at age 3.
