Haley (nee O’Brien) Kalil was born in Victoria, Minnesota on August 6, 1992, and is currently 33 years old. She is one of 2 two daughters and 3 sons born to mechanical engineering parents. Her father took over a bankrupt family firm, and she and her siblings were kept in the dark about the family’s financial difficulties.
Kalil spent most of her childhood days playing camping in a tent in the backyard, swimming in the nearby creek, and conducting mini-experiments with her mother in the little Minnesotan town of Victoria. She developed her passion for science and math in this way when she was growing up. She claimed that while calculus and biology were simple for her, memorizing and comprehending literature and history was challenging.
She pursued her love for science after high school by enrolling at St. Cloud State University in St. Cloud, Minnesota. She graduated with a 4.0 overall grade point average in biomedical sciences and psychology, as well as a minor in chemistry.

It’s interesting to note that Haley Kalil’s career path has 2 phases: modeling and pageantry.
She began her pageant career in 2016 when she competed in the Miss Minnesota Teen USA 2009, finishing as the third runner-up to the winner. In 2010, she competed once more and was named Miss Minnesota Teen USA 2010.
In 2013, she competed in Miss Minnesota USA 2014 as a college student and was proclaimed the winner at the end of the pageantry. The victory earned her a berth as a Minnesota representative in Miss USA 2014; she finished in the top 20 but did not win the title.
She crowned her successor and retired from pageantry at the end of her reign as Miss Minnesota USA.
Kalil’s modeling career began in 2017 when she competed in the Sports Illustrated Swin Search, reaching the top 15. Being in the top 15 allowed her to make her debut for Sports Illustrated Swimsuit Swim and Active apparel lines in Miami.
Haley had a fantastic year in 2018 by being selected for a shoot in the 2018 edition as a model search contestant after reaching the top 6. She was named one of the competition’s two winners in March, alongside Camille Kostek.

Haley Kalil was previously married to retired NFL player Matt Kalil.
In terms of marriage, Sarah and Matt had a modest wedding ceremony on Tunnels Beach in Kauai, Hawaii, on July 8, 2015. They reaffirmed their wedding vows in a formal ceremony in front of friends and family on July 8, the following year.
The model filed for divorce in a Los Angeles County court in May 2022, citing irreconcilable differences as the basis.
After the filing, she was spotted on a Mexico beach in a bikini cooling off.
